At the usual cafe. [ She knows where it is. ]

Can you get there in half an hour?

[bystandering]

Sure.

[If Mitsuki needed to be there in a half an hour then she'd be there in half an hour. She's at the usual cafe at the right time, of course. She arrives early and is waiting for Rei to show up.]

[dolosa]

[ Don't worry, she's here early as well, sitting on her wheelchair as she rolls in. ]

Good morning. Are you doing alright?

[bystandering]

I'm doing good.

[She stands up quickly, offering to push the wheelchair if it's needed.] What did you want to talk to me about?

[dolosa]

We're planning another game soon.

[ Soon being the key word here. ] In the meantime, do you want to get breakfast? Or have you eaten already?

[bystandering]

Good.

[She's getting bored after the last one. So many who need to be punished, so little time.] Yes, please. I've been working on stuff so I haven't had time yet.

[dolosa]

I'm assuming it's homework, correct? How have you been doing at school?

[ Of course, if it's not, Mitsuki's free to elaborate. ] And alright; you can order whatever you want, my treat.

[bystandering]

I was looking through newspapers...but I think I'm doing okay enough in school not to do my homework right away.

[Since she can't exactly go to school right now. Certain things, first.] Really?

[She perks up considerably at that.]

[dolosa]

I see. [ Well, thankfully Rei managed to get Mitsuki off mostly scot free (she has influence after all) so she's probably just on parole. See, Mitsuki? She's such a good papa. ]

And yes, really. I have some money to spare.

[bystandering]

I know I'm supposed to be a class rep and all but it's been hard at school lately. [Even if she got off on parole those liars don't think she's innocent.]

Ehehe...! [She gives a girlish giggle at that.] What should we do afterwards?

[dolosa]

I see. I guess I can understand why. [ Her tone indicates a "been there, done that" stance; she bets everyone in her class has isolated her. ]

Anything you want.

[bystandering]

[It kind of happens when you're suspected of murdering so many.] I just want to spend time with you.

[She does stop to pull out a newspaper article out of her pocket to slide it over to Rei. It's just an article on some violent crime. A robbery gone wrong.] I saw that in the newspaper today. It made me sick.

[To know people like that get away with their crimes.]

[dolosa]

Really?

[ Well, that's fine... But she looks at the article and hums easily to herself. A robbery, huh. While Rei only shows vague interest in the whole thing itself -- robberies are a rather tame crime, after all -- she doesn't reveal it on her face. It seems that it wasn't a simple robbery, though.

It wasn't something done by a 'wolf', either. ] Hm. It honestly is sickening. Well, death isn't all that rare of a case nowadays, but an instance like this makes me gag sometimes.

[ Fingers run around the rim of her cup for a second before- ]

Well, that's why the game is in place. To stop people like this.

[bystandering]

[Even among the crimes committed by the last group in the game, it's rather small-time. There was a murder but it hadn't been intentional. That didn't matter. She frowns.]

The entire world is sick. If the game stops people like this...we should do it as soon as we can.

[dolosa]

That's right. But it'll take time. Just trust me. Preparations are complete, so all that's needed now are the players. I have some people in mind, but if you have any recommendations, feel free to tell me now.

[bystandering]

I want as many players as we can fit in. [More the merrier. They all so very much deserve their punishment.]

[dolosa]

Alright. The game can't fit in many people, but it can fit in enough. I'll have it set up by tomorrow. But for today, you can relax.

[bystandering]

You're so diligent! [She's smiling like a small child.] We'll do great again. I'm sure of it.

[dolosa]

I keep things in check, after all.

[bystandering]

You're really good at it. [Because you're my dad and you're the best.]

Thank you for saying so, Mitsuki. [ And for that, she'll lean in a bit to pat her on the head. ]
