[ Every night, she would pray in her room, alone, to the Shinto gods -- telling them quietly that one day people would like her, people would stop being mean to her, that people would finally- finally- forgive her for all her faults. She had said that she's sorry over a million times over, chanting those two words as if they would give her luck.

But today?

It would only give her despair, as she was brought to the corner of an empty corridor in Hope's Peak during lunch period, bullied by some of the other students on campus. They were about to step on her, draw on her, do whatever they wanted with her.

And she knew that she wouldn't be able to escape. She was weak, after all. All she was, really, was nothing but a plaything to them, even as she wailed. ]

Please forgive me already...! I'm sorry-! [ Nobody would come to save her, she knew. Or so she thought, anyway. ]
