[ Seeing things in black and white made things a little difficult for someone who was an artist. And even though he was told the color of each object, it wasn't the same as being able to see it.
The sky was blue, the grass was green... but what did those colors actually look like?
Curiosity fills him for the longest time, so he sketches. He uses the colors that are given to him, but he cannot see them. He knows he'll probably laugh at this when he compares the colors of reality to the colors he chose for his sketches.
And he's... in college now. An ordinary day at the university, with nothing incredibly interesting going on. He's drank coffee rather frequently to keep him up on those late nights doing assignments and papers and just not being able to sleep overall. Which is why when he notices a girl in the line, he thinks it's going to be normal. She's easy to ignore.
At least, that's his thought before the many shades of black and white start to fade like paint filling in the missing colors. Bright blues, reds, all the hues that he thought he'd never see in his life.
And the first words that spill out of his mouth is the best word he's ever said in his life. ]
