[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

I couldn't say, but I guess we're not really in a position to doubt it. The question is, who is supposed to be the "liar?"

There's a lot of rabbits in this picture... but only one wolf.

[ She's just stating the obvious, honestly. ]

M-- maybe we're supposed to find the wolf?

[Now that I think about it, the picture has rabbits. And there are a lot of rabbit masks around here. Which means...]

Do you see any wolf masks around here?

I didn't see one when I woke up.

[ There isn't one to be seen. However, most of the corpses - except one - have a rabbit mask within their vicinity. ]

Maybe... I was wrong?

[wright_idea]

No, let's not rule out that possibility just yet. They left that note for a reason.

[...? Hang on...]

[He walks over to the unmasked corpse, fighting a queasy feeling in his stomach as he bends down.]

[It can't be a coincidence this guy's the only one without a mask... but then, who is he? If he's the liar, is it just by random choice, or is there something else to this...?]

[He reaches into the corpse's pocket anyway.]

[This feels wrong somehow. But then everything about this is pretty messed up.]

[dolosa]

You don't really think...?

[ Her voice sounds rather shaky as she speaks, wheeling herself over to where Phoenix is before she stops with a slight hitch of her voice almost going into a scream as she watches him, covering her lips to just barely stop it.

But lucky you, Phoenix! You've managed to find a key! ]

[wright_idea]

[Yep. I sure do feel dirty.]

I wonder who all these people are? So many corpses here... how has this not been major news?

[He looks at the key.]

We'd better get out of here.

[Although something tells me it's not as simple as that.]

[dolosa]

I... wouldn't know.

[ She's hesitant, though she nods at his words. It would be the best to exit the area while they still can.

However, when they do exit, they will find that it really isn't as simple as that one door! It's the right key, of course, but what the door leads to is two separate corridors and absolutely no hints as to where each one leads. ]

Do you think we should separate?

[wright_idea]

Yeah, I guess you wouldn't... We may need to look into this when we get out of here.

[IF we get out of here, anyway.]

[He leads the way out... and the disappointment on his face is obvious at the latest twist.]

[Yes, good, okay. Why make it easy when you can make it horribly difficult?]

Eh? I don't think that's such a great idea, to be honest.

[I mean, isn't that how the teenagers in horror movies always die?]

[dolosa]

You... think so? [ She wasn't all that confident about going on her own, either, but she would take one for the team if she had to. ] Um, so-- which way do we go? Left or right?

[wright_idea]

[This would probably be a bad time to make a last name joke, huh?]

Let's check the right for now. I mean, we don't have to go all the way in, right?

[dolosa]

Right sounds fine by me.

[ And on the right is actually a library! However, all of the books are in actuality, documents on all of the dead people along with people Phoenix may or may not know. ]

[wright_idea]

...A library?

[He frowns, pulling a book off the shelf.]

[dolosa]

It looks like it...

[ But the book he took in particular has information on a particular clan of people. More specifically the Fey clan. ]

What's that book about?

[wright_idea]

...N...nothing important.

[What... why is this even here? Why would there be a book on Maya's family here? Who else is on this shelf...?]

[He reaches for another book, his brow furrowing.]

[dolosa]

Okay. If... it's nothing important, I'll trust you.

[ The other book the he picked out has files on the families of the corpses that they found outside, if he recognizes the pictures and matches them. ]

[wright_idea]

[What is all this? There's so much personal data. Why does anybody even need all of this? What's going on around here?

...and now that I think about it...]

Hey. For some reason, there's a lot of files on people here... maybe there's something on the "liar" from the first room?

[dolosa]

You think that might be a clue to get us out? ... I'll go check on this side, then.

[ She pauses for a second before wheeling herself over to the left side of the room, picking out a file at seemingly random and opens it.

But just as she opens it, she gasps in surprise, clearly in shock before dropping it on the floor, her body shivering in fear. ]

What's this... doing... here...?

[wright_idea]

Wh...what? What is it?

[He rushes over to her side.]

Are you okay?! What did you see?

[dolosa]

Ah, it's...

[ On the floor, so she can't exactly hide it. But what it entails is definitely an article about a family of three attempting a group suicide and only one known survivor. Names aren't listed, though it does state that the known survivor was a TV celebrity. ]

It's... a horrible thing that happened.

[wright_idea]

A...ah. So I see.

[That's odd, though. Why would she have such a strong reaction to this? It's odd that I haven't heard about this, either, although I guess I'm not always on top of celebrity stuff.]

Were you affected by this somehow? A friend, maybe?

[dolosa]

No... it wasn't a friend.

[wright_idea]

I see. You just reacted so strongly... I guess it's not really any of my business.

[He frowns, then picks the file up.]

Shall I just put it back for now?

[dolosa]

I'm sorry. Thank you, Wright-san... for not asking.

[ Rei furrows her brow as her head lowers, biting her lower lip rather anxiously before nodding. ]

Maybe you should... see if you can find anything about that man in the files.

[wright_idea]

Heh. Everybody's gotta have their secrets, right?

[And a place like this, seems like the ability to keep that secret is at a premium.]

Yeah. It might give us some insight on who's behind all of this. Let's keep looking.
