himeko inaba. ( kokoro connect ) serious analyst and computer nerd who cares a lot about her friends but hides it because she's super insecure about how she comes off to people. she doesn't want to be seen by others as 'weak', in spite of well... being so.
miyuki sone. ( totono ) the stereotypical class idol that's trying to get her big break.
zange (and hakua suzushiro). ( kannagi ) goddess that's possessing a girl's body. over the top and the younger sister. loves attention. she's also an ~idol~ of sorts but her singing is godawful.
rei hazama. ( doubt ) yoshiki tonogai said he wanted a rika expy and SO HE MADE A RIKA EXPY, GODDAMN IT. a small girl in a wheelchair that used to be a famous hypnotist. more than meets the eye. she's a walking spoiler too but does anybody really care about doubt spoilers at this point???
dong bai. ( dynasty warriors ) she's short but she will step on you. basically the premise of "who run the world: girls".
kanae hokari. ( euphoria ) childhood friend of the mc. kind. don't fucking look up her canon you will regret everything. she's from an eroge. also a hugeass walking spoiler because this is my life.

💖 YOU ARE THE IMPOSTER. there's a few set-ups of this that i'd like to play, most of them being really soft or sad -- but feel free to come up with others too! 1) the 'imposter' was friends with the character they're pretending to be, but they died, and then took on their identity. 2) imposter has feelings for the character that the person they're pretending to be is dating/in love with and decide to have their way with them. alternatively: the person they're pretending to be is shy about their feelings, the imposter pretends to be them to ~help~ 3) a threesome with the imposter, the original and another character.
💖 HYPNOTISM. depends on the character here, but i do want to play more consensual hypnotism. i also want hypnotism that's combined with like, body modification, changing their beliefs and things like that.
💖 TIMELOOPS. self explanatory, really - i like the concept of something repeating over and over again, maybe even with only one of them recalling the timeloop? i also like serious threads where they try to convince the other that the timeloop exists. (yes, i know i'm making a timeloop game, shut up.)
💖 CHARACTER SPECIFIC: i want to play miyuki against ddlc characters...... esp monika, but yeah. please. gimme. i also want to play illya against other homunculi of any sort, too. and bernkastel against higurashis.

I kinda like the idea of one of them already knowing they're in a timeloop and trying to get the other to help break out of it. Maybe a thing where shirogane here's trying to break out of it and all he has to go on is brief flashes of previous attempts and inaba helping him out. somethin' like that! ))

But she cannot completely manifest the girl that once occupied this body, even picking at the memories that were gifted to her. She's a fine actress, but not quite that fine. Her gaze is a little more vacant than before; her reactions far more muted. She knows the right people and the right words, but at times there's a hollowness to her voice that was never present before.
But, for those around her, it was easy enough to dismiss - she had a horrible encounter with the witch of the forest, after all, who nearly murdered her.
They've been working on a project together. It's been easy enough to use Viola's memories to adapt to the practical aspects of modern reality, whereas her own knowledge has left her sharper and more competent than ever. Such as it is, and with Inaba being as smart as she is, the school project they'd been tasked with working on together is already nearing completion.
But maybe not as quickly as it should.
Ellen pauses now, though, looking to Inaba. It takes a split second for her to train her face into the emotion she needs it to be - the face of a concerned friend, with her furrowed brow and slight frown, with the way she bites down on her bottom lip. ]

It was a hunch that had led her here as a part of her investigation. There were a series of deaths that no one could quite explain, with the survivors almost in hysterics and stating that a girl had dropped them here. The police had since dismissed it as a temporary fit of insanity brought on by the trauma of seeing so many others around him dead. It was natural that he would invent a scapegoat rather than admit that his fellow humans were capable of murdering each other - a scapegoat who was notorious for their hypnosis and the controversy it caused. No different than blaming a demon or a monster.
But it was quite curious, really. The name of the person he accused seemed to have disappeared from the case. The facts and details had been modified by time they reached the media. It was only by luck that she was able to retrieve it - or otherwise, a deliberate ploy.
Rei Hazama. Indeed, it had taken her some time to realize who it referred to, but once she had the pieces of evidence became easier to collect.
The only thing left to do is obtain testimony from the person herself.
Kyoko bows politely. Her voice is level and pleasant as one would expect, but there's a sharpness to her gaze. She can't afford to overlook even a single detail now. ]
