[ As someone who's lived her life poor and could only earn a living by being an assassin her whole life, when her boss had told her that she would be heading overseas for a job, she had no choice but to say yes.

And you'd think that she wouldn't actually fumble.

She's speedy and strong, and she's been doing this for a while. However, one cannot fight an entire army on her own, and while she had been warned about this fact beforehand, that doesn't mean that she can be entirely prepared for it in reality.

So in the end...

... the Thorn Princess falls.

The officers who have managed to 'put her in her place' have her currently tied up, her weapons confiscated and brought to their leader, to decide what to do with her. At the very least, they've allowed her to keep her outfit.

For now, anyway. ]

[ The foreign assassin sent to take his life hadn't made any obvious mistakes. At least, mistakes that should have been obvious to her. Though Sun Ce could be reckless and impulsive, he's still surrounded by loyal followers, some of whom have been keeping tabs on his rivals.

The warlord that had hired her had already been found out and eliminated before she'd even arrived. She simply had no way of knowing that her attempt was expected.

Sun Ce steps into the room, where the woman is kept and bound. She's... attractive, to say the least. But she also just tried to end his life, and he needs to make sure that won't be happening again. ]

It's impressive that you made it as far as you did. But it's a good thing for both of us you didn't make it any farther than that.

[ He walks to where she's tied up, looking down at her. Without her weapons, she could still be dangerous, but that doesn't stop him from crouching down, sitting on his heels so that he can look her in the eye. ]

Your client's already dead. He wouldn't have been able to pay you for the job anyway. So, what do I do with you now?
