himeko inaba - someone - age varying depending on canonpoint or (CR)AU - who has deeply rooted trust issues, and because of that, she's opted to become observant and analyzes the situations around her. she cares about her friends deeply, but she has a tendency to hide it ( along with any other weakness ) as she's super insecure about how she comes off to other people. she doesn't want to be seen as weak, in spite of actually being weak.
sparkle - little shit who is part of the masked fools and will disugise herself as other people to mess with them. also just likes messing with people in general and playing games with people. :)
kana arima - former child actress, now an actress/idol combo (although she does Quit being an idol, too) used to be pretty famous but fell off after she Aged Out. kind of jaded, but also extremely lonely and seeks validation.
"goddess of stars" / "goddess of entertainment" - a goddess who is hollow. gets hyperfixated on people who shine brightly. just a little yandere.
ruka kayamori - talented singer/songwriter/guitarist for a band called she is legend. an absolute gay menace. currently the leader of 31-A and fights against aliens.
rei hazama - hypnotist that acts cute and innocent, but in reality Is Not. absolute villain manipulator.
echidna - witch of greed who wants to not be bored.........
megumi aikawa - psychic from osaka who has a lot of self esteem issues. silly girl.
melissa "mucchi" crown - a girl whose family were turned from cows -> people so that they wouldn't get butchered. youngest in the family; has a dense older brother who she helps with music by being the lead singer of their two person band. has an AU counterpart where she's a magical girl.
rise kujikawa - famous idol, now persona user navigator. confident bubbly girl.

[After a moment to make sure she's holding it right, Ruka starts swinging the pendulum back and forth in front of Yuki.]

[Ruka's eyes catch a glimpse of the swaying pendulum out of the reflection on Yuki's glasses.

...before long, she's the one staring transfixed at the pendulum and watching it go back and forth. It's not long after that that it slips free from her hand and the arm that was raised to keep it where it was slowly lowers.

In fact, she's sitting there all stock still, her usual bluster all but silenced, as if she was waiting to be 'ordered'.

[She waves a hand in front of the other girl's face for a moment, before realizing that she's completely stock still.]

Don't tell me... did you actually manage to hypnotize yourself?

But also, what is she supposed to do with this?? Maybe she should test it to make sure she isn't being messed with...?

[...given that the brain's currently turned off, the first thing that comes out is a certain world domination scientist's jingle, as opposed to anything very specific.

It's probably not quite what she wanted to hear, but it is confirmation -- Ruka has somehow managed to hypnotize herself instead of Yuki.
