While the wolves really are there, they don't immediately jump at him; they just stare at Hiroshi with a low growl. Bernkastel herself doesn't seem all that impressed, although she took another step forward without any hesitance before murmuring (although it was loud enough for Hiroshi to hear) in the general direction of the wolves -- her tone comes off harsh from her lips.
