[ Out in the streets, there seems to be a young teenage girl who's frantically messing with her hair, looking in front of the glasses in stores to make sure that her hair covers her ears; she doesn't want them to be seen, and there's definitely more than one reason for it besides sheer embarrassment.

What she doesn't notice, however, is the fact that there might actually be people watching-- and the panic is setting in nicely, even though Melissa doesn't usually do this sort of thing. But her big brother already messed up once, she doesn't have any plans on doing it again.

[ have a luna wandering over in concern! ]

Er, Miss, are you alright?

[cowears]

[ Melissa flinches back in surprise, her hair still perfectly in place before she shoots a grin towards Luna, tugging at her twintails uneasily. ]

Y-- ... Yeah, I'm fine, sorry, I didn't mean to bother you! I was just making sure my hair wasn't all frizzled up, since, well, I'm kind of a lead singer for a band.

[Adonis watches her for a moment before wondering what she's doing. He walks over to her with a huge smile on his face.]

Something wrong, miss?

[cowears]

[ There's a screech as she turns around with a whirl, her eyes growing wide in surprise as she attempts to laugh it off, twirling a strand of hair around her index finger. ]

No! Nothing wrong! Noooot at all!

this is Yue here...have a werewolf?

[Sirona has been watching the younger teenager for a few moments before walking over, almost cautiously.]

Is everything all right, over there?

[cowears]

[ When she hears the voice, her ears perk up for a second, trying to find the source of the voice before she finally speaks up, trying her best to sound relatively calm. ]

I'm fine, just-- fixing my hair. You know. Girl things. Don't you do it too?

[calmcenter]

Oh...! [She backs up a little at that. Right. That's right... it's not exactly something that's not unfamiliar to Sirona: leaving with ten other girls about her age did make that less unusual. Even though only one of them would do that in a mirror on the street...

And this girl doesn't look as, ah, self-assured as Arlais. Sirona self-consciously touches her own ponytail.]

Of course.. I do. You just looked nervous. [There was something... something about the presence of this girl; it seemed off. It must have been just her own embarrassment.]

[cowears]

Really?

[ She sports a rather cheekish grin before she laughs it off, rather haughtily. ]

Ahaha, that's funny! Why would I be nervous? I have no reason to be, after all.

[calmcenter]

[She takes that back. She might be like Arlais after all.]

Well, how would I know? You seemed... fidgety for some reason.

[She holds her ground this time.]

[cowears]

You must be imagining things, miss.

[ She says this firmly, dropping the childlike tone that was in her voice just moments ago. ]

No. I don't think I was.

[She looks up, shaking her head.]

And why do you think that?

[calmcenter]

If you were just fixing your hair, you wouldn't be so defensive about me finding you.

There's some girls who don't like having their hair seen as something... messy!

True...but normally those types fix their hair before going out or try to find a bathroom.
