Hearts in their eyes, chocolate in their hands... you've guessed it! It's that time of the year again, where everything goes to hell and shipping is at its high. Or something like that. Basically, this is an open Valentine's Day post for all of your shipping needs with Len.

How does this work, exactly? Easy!

[ What with being preoccupied with patrolling Towa City, warding off Monokumas, and keeping the children and adults at bay, there's hardly ever a day where Komaru and Touko can just simply relax and enjoy themselves. However, today is Valentine's Day, and Komaru thinks that today would be the best time for them to finally take it easy. She's never personally celebrated Valentine's Day before, even prior to her imprisonment, but thanks to the various manga she's read, she has a pretty decent sense of how it works.

..."Decent" being the keyword here.

That's why she returns to the hotel room that she and Touko have been occupying, holding a box of chocolates not-so-cleverly hidden behind her back. She knows that Valentine's Day is all about giving chocolate to the people that you like, and she likes Touko. Komaru honestly considers her to be her best friend, so of course she'd give her chocolates on Valentine's Day! What she doesn't know, unfortunately, is the difference between giri choco and honmei choco, especially when she had been so lucky to finally find some chocolates in edible condition here in the first place.

Three guesses as to which one she has in her hand right now, and the first two don't count. ]

Touko-chaaaan! I'm back!

G— Good. I was wondering what was taking you so long.

[ Touko manages to stammer that out, wondering why she had to be holed up in the apartment to begin with. Out of the two of them, she was definitely the one who was well built to go sneaking outside but then again she seemed to have been insistent so she just... let her do what she wanted. It's not like she wasn't going to, in the first place.

Of course she's already noticed what she's gotten behind her back and she knows it's Valentine's Day but Touko herself has never, not even once, considered the thought that maybe, just maybe it would be for her. ]

But don't get me wrong! It's... [ What kind of excuse can she cook up? ] It's not like I was worried about you!

[ Spoilers: she was. ] If something happened to you while we were together, that brother of yours would get angry and upset and then I'd never become a Future Foundation member to be besides my wonderful and handsome Byakuya-sama!

Sorry for taking so long, Touko-chan. I didn't mean to worry you. [ She says it so innocently that it's hard to tell whether she knows Touko was actually worried about her or if she's just apologizing for the worry she possibly caused anyways. ] Oh, right, you did say you're just an intern...sorry, you're just so reliable that I forget that you're not actually a part of the Future Foundation yet.

[ Komaru, the next time you try and give a compliment, you could maybe not rub salt into the wound. ]

Anyways, I promise that I'll be careful whenever I go out by myself. I wouldn't want to upset onii-chan or ruin your chances with Togami-san.

[ Which Komaru personally thinks are nonexistent, what with the way the blond treats her, but who is she to crush Touko's dreams? For all she knows, there could still be hope that things would work out between them, so she'll just continue to cheer her friend on from the side in her romantic pursuit. ]

It just took me longer than I expected to find what I was looking for.

I said I w-wasn't worried!

[ It's a somewhat frantic and hurried response that it's practically hard to believe that she's telling the truth. And she isn't. Nevertheless, she manages to relax just slightly. ] But thanks... for calling me reliable. Anyway, what were you looking for?

[omaru]

Ah, that's right! [ Just that quickly, she had forgotten what she was intending to do, but now that Touko's brought it back to her remembrance...Komaru produces the box of chocolates from behind her back and holds them in front of her, a bright smile on her lips. ] Today's Valentine's Day, right? So, I thought we should at least celebrate since we haven't had much time to relax. And you're supposed to give chocolates to the person you like, so...

[ She presents the chocolates to Touko for her to take, her smile unwavering. If anything, it only gets brighter. ]

I like you, Touko-chan.

[ She states it so bluntly, but she means it innocuously. She doesn't seem to realize how a statement like that can be misconstrued; to her, she's just expressing her appreciation to her friend for being with her all this time. Of course, the chocolates themselves probably won't help the situation either. ]

[murderousfriend]

[ Touko listens to her for a few good moments, going between opening her mouth to talk and utterly failing at it as only soft noises seem to slip from the back of her throat until Komaru eventually ends it with... that.

It's enough to make her eyes grow wide in shock and confusion, her cheeks flushing slightly as she can't even make the words come out of her mouth, so she's just somehow gaping for a few moments, an almost eerie silence in the air. She eventually catches herself as she makes an attempt to work the words out. ]

W- Wait, Komaru...! That's- [ Well, she can't say that she's wrong, and she swallows hard, in order to catch herself. ] You can't just say something like that! I have Byakuya-sama, after all!

[ It's only obvious that she would misunderstand that statement. After all, nobody has said something like that to her before. ]

Well, since you seemed to ask for it.

[I have no ideas of what to do, so have a schrodingers Komaeda.]

[ And here is one (1) Rei Hazama, smiling wide as she hides something behind her back. ]

Do you know what today's date is? [ It's Valentine's Day, obviously. ]

Valentine's day? I read once that there's somewhere that celebrates it as an actual holiday.

[ Well, no, that was not the reason why she did this, but whatever. She can make it seem that was the case. ]

[He seems almost confused, but then he smiles warmly, like this really somehow made him happy.]

[ There's the loud voice of what seems to be a young female, around fourteen or fifteen years of age, utilizing her Pokemon in an obvious 'wanting to protect the girl she really cares about' fashion. ]

Yuuri, are you okay? [ It's been quite some time since Touko - as she was called - has been in this world, but she's doing her very best to protect her friend from the zombies. ] You didn't get bitten or anything, did you?

[serrata]

[ It takes a moment for Yuuri to regain her breath. One moment she'd been running and then the next she'd been flat on her stomach in the dirt, winded for the impact of hitting the ground when she tripped. Blind panic had made it impossible to stand even though she'd known they were being pursued and... well, it's a little scary to think what would've happened if she didn't have Mei with her.

Swallowing hard, Yuuri pushes herself up onto her hands and knees. ]

I'm... fine. I wasn't bitten.

[ she looks up enough to manage a shaky smile. ]

Are you both alright?

[ameizing]

[ She can't help but take a heavy sigh of relief, bringing her hand to her chest, relieved that they're all doing alright, and she can't help but feel her lips tug into a rather tight grin. ]

And yeah! We're both OK! What a way to spend Valentine's day, huh?

[ It's a rather off color joke, but she tries so hard to play it off as normal. ]

[It was just another average day in the club room. And Arata had to wonder if he was lucky today or not... Considering that he was stuck with The Ice Queen on Valentine's Day. And speaking of ice, the weather outside was hitting cold temperatures, but thankfully the AC in the room was on.

For now. Though potential worries on the weather wasn't crossing his mind as he was more caught up on his homework. It was a good thing that this Valentine's Day was on a Friday. Though Arata wanted to get this all out of way and screw around on the weekend.]

Um, I think I'm starting to this now. [He'll be holding up his sheet of paper.] You're pretty good at math, Inaba.

[ Inaba can't help but sigh a little bit, shrugging her shoulders. Even though she definitely had something to give Arata for later, that was definitely shoved into her bag for the time being, like a treasure with a lock. ]

Well, obviously. I do a lot of computer related things, so it's a bit of a mandatory skill to be relatively decent at math.

[There's a devious smile on his face when he says with an quick silence... Then he adds.]

[ She's caught off guard as her face turns completely bright red for what seems to be a flicker of a second before she huffs and glances away in hopes of him not noticing her flushed cheeks. ]

Ah, so it was a joke... [ Deep down, she kind of wished he wasn't joking. ] Well, I already know that I'll be going into the field of information technology, which means I'll be focusing on sciences. But anyway, I bet with you being so wishy-washy like that, you didn't get any chocolate today, huh?

Oi, oi... You didn't have to be so direct on that.

[She definitely hit the bulls-eye as Arata flinches awkwardly. Of all people to not get any chocolates, he was certain that he wouldn't be on that list. He was wondering why Inaba was acting a little strangely, but he doesn't think any further on it.]

But you're right. I really didn't get anything and I can't understand why. I'm popular with the ladies, so I thought that I'd be swimming in chocolates this year.

[More like he was popular for all the wrong reasons.]

[Footsteps echo on the metal deck as a figure steps out into the morning sun. He glances at the water just off the port side of the boat and back up to eye level. No words break the silence. He waits like a silent specter.]

[ And what appears from beyond his reach with a shimmer of light is a figure that seems to be someone who doesn't seem to be young; the things that makes her rather different than an ordinary human is the fact that not only is she floating in midair right above the ocean, but also her cat tail which flicks in the air as well. ]

It's not every day that I allow my presence to be shown in a Fragment such as this.

Did you cease to find me boring? [He continues to watch the ocean waves with a tiny flicker of interest that's there and gone again. He had boarded the boat for a specific purpose. It's one event of many to pave the way for his plans. Which is more unpredictable? Hope or despair.

... I've been watching since the very beginning.

[ It's been pretty entertaining to watch Enoshima's antics; it gives her life and it's a lot more fun than being bored all the time. Especially when it comes down to this. ]

I have been in games where magic does not exist. All that matters to me is that it does not remain boring. Isn't that what you want?

[ She says with yet another flick of her tail as she summons a cup of tea to drink. ] After all, you plan to put that thing in there, don't you? While I've already seen the outcome in other Fragments, I have yet to see how it plays out in this one.
