Hearts in their eyes, chocolate in their hands... you've guessed it! It's that time of the year again, where everything goes to hell and shipping is at its high. Or something like that. Basically, this is an open Valentine's Day post for all of your shipping needs with Len.

[ Normally, Inaba Himeko wasn't the type to care much about appearances. She was fine the way she was, she thought most of the time. But today was something else completely different, especially since it was Valentine's Day. And it made her more than a little nervous that she was even remotely gutsy to go ahead and ask him to have this date prepared on this very special day.

Of course, it gave her some time to prepare things, make sure that he was out when she was making the chocolate - she was okay at it! she's made obligation chocolate for her brother before! - but she really wanted to go all out. Anything less would be extremely embarrassing. And sure, he didn't need to eat, as a Servant, but it's the thought that counts, in the end.

Anyway, she wants things to be perfect and it's because of that alone she takes a bit of time preparing herself. It does take time, but she's eventually finished as she walks down the stairs, looking a little different from the norm. Normally she'd go with darker colors, but not today. She wears a rather cute white, but somewhat fancy white buttoned shirt with a loose, light pink jacket over it. A plaid, darker pink skirt that doesn't even reach her knees. Thigh high patterned black leggings that help exaggerate the skin between what the skirt covers and the leggings. And to top it all off, neutral brown flats. What makes it more evident that she's put in white a bit of effort is that her hair is straightened out for the most part, although she did braid a part of her hair to the side. ]

[Cloud had his errands to run earlier in the day, which played into Inaba's own plans for making chocolate for him quite smooth. as much as he didn't require anything to exist besides her mana in which she supplied him, he could still enjoy things as he would have in his normal life. of course, like most Servants who were devoted to winning the grail at first, he didn't bother much with any of it- that is until he got to know his young master better.

he can hear footsteps approaching, down the stairs she came wearing something he'd never quite seen out of her before. she usually dressed more reserved than this, darker clothing; but Cloud's admittedly stunned. any train of thought he had before is gone as his arms fall to his sides, no longer crossed across his chest from where he'd been leaning against the wall as his date approached him.

"I didn't keep you waiting for too long, did I?"

if it were anyone else rendered to silence in front of a girl, they'd have been called rude. but the look of surprise in his eyes (along with the telltale hint of pink in his cheeks) said it all for him. it was different, very much so. but above everything else?]

[ Sometimes, Inaba's rather relieved that it was Cloud's turn to do the errands, if only so that it would get him out of the house. Of course, she's no master chef - primarily because she leaned towards instant food that could be microwaved, things that were simple to make like onigiri, for instance. She just wasn't that kind of girl that learned these things. Things that most girls knew.

But not her.

Chocolate, however, was more on the simpler end, so she could at least do that much.

When he sees his expression, however, she can't help but be caught off guard herself; was Cloud earnestly that surprised by her? She doesn't mind that he's not saying much, if only because she doesn't know what else to say. Not really, anyway. So she ends up twirling a strand of hair idly around a finger, not even bothering to hide just how nervous she truly is. ]

Um... Earth to Cloud? You did hear me, right?

[ Does she have to poke him? She sure hopes not. ]

[as much as Cloud knew how to cook, his skills compared to Tifa paled. but it did fall back to him more frequently when it came to who prepared meals around the house between the two. Inaba's look of surprise is almost enough to break him out of staring like he was.

luckily for him, she'd spoken up for him and it was enough of a spark to get her Servant back on track. he shakes his head, face deepening in color but not doing much to think about it]

Ah-yeah, loud and clear. Sorry, you just... [she looked nice. he notices something within her hand.] What's that?

[ She does spot the color in his cheeks, but opts not to say anything about it right now, if only so she can potentially tease him a little later. But when he doesn't finish that sentence of his, there's a slight cant of her head, wondering what he meant by that.

But he then asks her what she's holding and--
