a special edition call me out!

With the return of my laptop, it's about time to go on ahead and throw up a new call me out post, now with new, fresh coding! Of course, I'll still be utilizing my old post, but this one is just a special self indulgent one for the most part to get back into the swing of things.

Basically, you guys know the drill by now: pick a character that's available on my muselist and either throw up a top level or bully me to make you one. Either one works. I just want to get my feet wet and start playing with everyone again after two weeks of being stuck on mobile phone tagging, so here we go.

As far as my interests go, I'm a huge fan of shipping and smut, but we don't have to have things go in that direction! And if you want to do smut, I do ask that you warn for it at least, even though I'm 100% down for it. In terms of genre, I'm good with most things from memory loss to bad end AUs to fluffy scenarios. [Maybe for a brief moment when he says those words before Sakura runs back with the bouquet of flowers in her arms the faint outline of Sakura's mother can be seen with her angel wings and all, but whether Syaoran himself can see her or not? She smiles and says a few simple words before disappearing. "Thank you. And please keep looking after Sakura, as her special person." Once she's gone though, Sakura beams as she's managed to return, her smile unfading as she keeps close to him.] Syaoran-kun! You got the vase ready? Let's put the flowers in together before leaving.

[rashinban]

(the outline is faint, barely visible for syaoran to see even with his magic capabilities. but the image is clear enough for syaoran to tell this is sakura's mother, clearly still watching over her family, even after all this time.

he's too stunned to answer, his eyes wide and mouth barely ajar, as if he wants to answer her support to him, but he just can't find the words. within moments, however, nadeshiko is gone, and the silence is replaced with sakura's bright and cheery voice.

it snaps him out of his trance as he turns to her, eyes still wide with disbelief of what he just witnessed.

and then it hits him.

syaoran is lucky. he still has sakura here with him, every day they get to go to school together, every day they face challenges and hardships, and it's terrifying not being able to help her as much as he once did. and he's hit with it now more than ever, but he wants to protect her. waking up one day to find her gone isn't something he would ever heal from.

he remains motionless for a moment, before ignoring the vase in front of her mother's photo entirely, rushing over to wrap his arms tightly around sakura. one arm wraps around her waist to bring her close, the other resting at her head, feeling the cute hairstyle he's always thought suited her perfectly.

syaoran never wants to lose this. he can never lose this.)

[Sakura isn't even given the chance to blink of even say a single word as she suddenly feels his arms around her in a rather unexpected hug, her arms by his sides, feeling a little startled and actually surprised by it to the point where she finally lets out a small noise before she finds herself relaxing in his touch.

She can't find any proper words to say or even bring herself to ask him what's wrong.

There has to be a reason for this after all, right? She's certain of it. But she also feels that it should be his decision to tell her the truth. Not hers. Sakura believes in him, after all. That he would tell her everything when the time is right. Closing her eyes, she murmurs his name almost under her breath, but enough to reach his ears.]

Syaoran-kun...

[The flowers are still held tightly in her hands hovering by his sides for a good few moments, relaxing into his touch.]

Um, can you let go for a second, I don't want to ruin these...

[rashinban]

(it's still something he has difficulty voicing, trying to put it properly into words how important she is in his life, and how much he never wants to see her in harm.

but she's here with him now, alive and healthy and though there's consistently bumps in the road, she's happy. she's here with him now, changing the flowers in her mother's vase with a smile on her face, no doubt the way she does this task every morning.

and syaoran wants to protect that smile, that joy. the soft mutter of his name makes something warm and soothing bloom in his heart, putting him at peace even a little.

until it registers what he did, and syaoran finds himself going bright red as he quickly breaks the hug, gently pushing her away by her shoulders, but not breaking physical contact just yet.) S-Sorry!

[clearities]

[When he breaks the hug and apologizes to her, she immediately finds herself freaking out, making a rather surprised noise of her own, cheeks immediately matching his own redness.] N-No, it's not your fault-- I mean, I didn't mind it, Syaoran-kun... it'll just be really quick! Okay? Okay? [Because saying 'okay' twice is clear evidence of her trying to reassure him that she doesn't have any problems with the hug itself. In fact, she didn't want to tear herself apart from him at all in the slightest bit.] It'll be fine! And then we can finally go on our date!

[rashinban]

(and this is how both of them die, in embarrassed messes on sakura's dining room floor, too ashamed to even think about their date together. he certainly doesn't regret hugging sakura, but he sure does wish he hadn't done it so... suddenly and dramatically.

as sakura gets more and more flustered, it only transfers over to syaoran, as well. with his face getting hotter and tripping over his words, he settles for the neutral option of simply grabbing the vase filled with fresh water, and holding it out in front of her.

much in the same way when they were younger, and he was too shy to properly explain what he was doing.) H-Here! The vase! For the flowers!

(god please smite him where he stands.)

[clearities]

...Right! [They're definitely both embarrassing losers that get flustered due to the situation, but when he passes the vase, she manages to put the flowers in there somehow before walking back over to put the vase back in front of the photo.] Ahaha. Anyway, we're done so let's go? Syaoran-kun?

[rashinban]

Y-Yeah! Let's go! (before any other embarrassing and potentially humiliating escapades can happen, syaoran makes his way over to the door with a face still as bright as the flames he can summon.

he grabs his bag and shoes, doing whatever task he can to focus on that instead of the intense shyness he feels in the moment. syaoran certainly didn't mean to brush off sakura in any way, he just. needs a minute to collect himself.

there's still a soft blush on his face when she joins him, and though his head is still ducked and he's evidently awkward, he does try to speak about something else.) I'm really excited about today. To be with you.

[This is what happens when you get two bumbling idiots - in some senses, anyway; Sakura's always seen Syaoran-kun as someone who's very bright and intelligent in ways that she just simply wasn't. Now that everything's all said and done, of course, she immediately grabs whatever she needs to and double checks that she's prepared-- and indeed, she is. She walks right alongside him as she slips on her shoes at the genkan, smiling brightly like the sun in spite of a blush spreading across her cheeks as well.] Me too! I'm really, really, really excited about today! Because it'll be a really fun memory with you, Syaoran-kun. I'm sure of it!

(syaoran may be more on the intelligent side, but sakura's kindness and compassion and warm, loving heart are far much more valuable in the long run. it draws people to her, makes them feel welcomed and appreciated just for being who they are.

syaoran won't deny he was taken in by her smile and love.

it's impossible for him to look at her and not think of how beautiful she is. and he'll thank any higher power for the rest of his life that he gets to spend time by her side.

as she slips her shoes on and gets ready to walk out the door, syaoran holds his hand out to her with yet another bright blush on his face. it's hard thinking of the right words at the moment, so he hopes the message gets across of just how special today is to him.)

[While that might be the truth, she still highly values the strengths that Syaoran-kun has that she, personally, just simply doesn't. But of course, it's her strong heart coupled with her invincibility spell that makes her truly strong. And she knows that, better than anyone else. Her bright, emerald green eyes light up when he holds her hand out for her - a gesture that's still new in some ways, but also a comfort in other ways. It's enough for her to take it, squeezing his hand as her cheeks light up, a light pink color that matches her namesake, the cherry blossom.] Thank you, Syaoran-kun. [She really, truly means those few words, short and simple.]

(when she takes his hand, and he's able to feel how soft and warm she is for the first time, the red in his cheeks grows all the way to the tips of his ears. he's constantly filled with so much love for her that it feels as though he's going to explode.

but at the same time, this is the happiest syaoran has been in months. today isn't about magic or their responsibilities or saving the world again. it's simply about the two of them, spending time together, being able to be a couple for once.

well, with tomoyo and kero in tow, no doubt.

syaoran holds the door open for her, ready to walk out into the world, hand in hand with his girlfriend. still a thought that takes some getting used to.) Let's go.

[While Syaoran might be a tad bit embarrassed - admittedly, Sakura is too - she tries her best to simmer the emotions down, the blush still managed to slip onto Sakura's features, even if it's not as prominent as tomato boy over there. But she does, however, feel the same way; she adores and cares about him so deeply that it makes her heart warm. She's so happy. Extremely so. To the point where she can't think of a single thing that could possibly make this day worse. It can only go up from here, she wants to think. It's just the two of them. Maybe Tomoyo and Kero would show up... or perhaps, maybe they would actually leave them be for once. When he holds the door open for her, she can feel something flutter at the gesture before leading him out. Of course, she does have to lock up and make sure that both the gate and door are properly closed before they're off on their merry way.] Mm. Let's go, Syaoran-kun. You can lead the way... if you want to.

(hardly any thoughts run through syaoran's head that aren't about how much he's treasuring this day. but he settles into the scene eventually, growing comfortable as they are. his blush dies down, the tension inside him flows away.

watching her finish locking up her house and finally ready to leave, syaoran feels the excitement bubbling inside him, a smile spreading on his face with sakura at his side, her hand in his, and more than ready for their date.

it's hard for syaoran to remember a time when he's been this happy, but having a proper date with the one you love more than anything is a good contender for happiest day of his life.) Okay.

(and he does begin leading the way down the street, keeping her close for no reason other than he wants to.) Is there anything you want to do at the amusement park first?

Ah, well... [ She's honestly not sure what she wants to do at the amusement park first, if only because there's so much to do there and she really just wants to do it all! Although she's also aware that with the long waiting lines and how many hours there are that they can spend there... they probably won't have enough time to do everything they want. Which is kind of sad, really, but maybe just living in the moment would be okay. Just for now. ] Maybe we can go on the tea cup ride? Oh-- oh-- or maybe one of the roller coasters? Or maybe we can play a game on those booths they have around!

[rashinban]

(seeing her obvious excitement relieves him, knowing she has so many ideas in mind already helps him feel as though he doesn't have to meticulously plan out every detail of the date.

for all her uncertainty, it's clear to syaoran that it's easy for sakura to get a plan going, especially when it involves something fun as this. his main concern isn't doing as much as possible in a single day, but instead enjoying as much as they can. together.

he chuckles quietly as her so readily listing off multiple rides for them to start on.) How about we start on the roller coaster and calm down on the tea cup ride? After that, we'll play a few games. Maybe they'll have teddy bears as prizes.

[clearities]

[ To be fair, if he did plan things out, she wouldn't have minded that, either; as long as they were together, that's all that honestly matters to her. There's a bounce in her step as she skips ahead of him, beaming brightly. ]

Yeah, we can do that! I might want to try one of them for myself to get you something, Syaoran-kun.

[rashinban]

(a blush creeps onto his face at the thought of sakura working to win him a special prize. trading stuffed animals seems to be a theme with them, and it's one he wouldn't mind continuing.

he can't help but smile fondly at her energy. it's infectious, spreading to syaoran as he walks a little faster, getting them closer to their date.) I'd like that. Maybe we could... do boat rides, too?
