'What's wrong?'.....[Komaeda just stares at Shirou, astonished. He knows that Shirou is not the brightest crayon in the box but come on.......it's pretty obvious.

Komaeda is so astounded that he cannot stop himself from saying the next thing that comes out of his mouth.]

Wow, Emiya-kun. You honestly cannot tell? I'm impressed. I know you can be slow to catch on but I honestly thought that even you would spot that I'm very-

[It is then he manages to stop himself and clamp his mouth shut. If he says anymore, he is not sure how Shirou would take it. The guy obviously does not think about him that way. Why would anyone? He should stop right now before Shirou does catch on and find him utterly vile. He pushes his legs up.]

[Shirou has somehow inexplicably not noticed and it's honestly kind of hilarious. Although when he asks if he can't tell, he can't help but blush out of a fluster.]

[He has to cover his face with his hand because he just. He's too distracted with the fact that they just fell added with the fact that he was worried that either of them could have actually gotten hurt.]

[Well, Komaeda would not call himself impressed in a good way but he knew if he said that then Shirou might hate him forever. And he does not want that. And Shirou is already embarrassed by what he already said.] Ah….don’t pay it any mind. I was just talking nonsense like I always do.
[And he turns around as he stands up. As stunned as he is by how oblivious Shirou is, he is also relieved. There is a good chance that if Shirou actually finally notices, he might start to dislike Komaeda.

No, he will surely dislike him. Just as well. Komaeda really does not want that.
Shirou’s concern for his wellbeing makes him happy though. It was one of the reasons why he felt…..well….feelings he cannot work out.]

You don’t need to worry about me. I’m not badly hurt, and I don’t deserve your concern. However, I’m touched all the same.

[Shirou's quiet for a few moments, trying to find a distraction. The distraction in mind is that he fiddles with his fingers idly, trying to find proper words but failing at it. His gaze falls slightly and it's only when Komaeda finally finishes what he has to say that he finally objects.] Don't say that about yourself, Komaeda. I don't believe that you're talking nonsense. And more importantly... [His voice stills, just for a moment as he finally looks at him right in the eyes once again.] It's only fair that I worry, right? After all, we've known each other for a while now, not to mention that we're friends. [...] Or at least, I want to be friends with you. [He's backpedaling a bit since he doesn't know if Komaeda wants that from him.]

Friends.....? [Komaeda had his back to the doorway but this makes him turn around, forgetting about his er....predicament. Did Shirou say....that they were friends?

Because Komaeda always assumed that someone as nice as Shirou would never want to be his friend, let alone...]

It causes Shirou to raise his brows in what seems to be surprise and he can't help but straighten himself up so he can wear a rather soft smile, hand resting on his hip in a rather carefree manner.] Don't say "someone like you"... but yeah, I do.
