[ If there's anything that she should have expected-- it most certainly wasn't being teleported into another world. But strangely enough, it isn't surprising either when she sees a familiar face. Even worse is probably the fact that said familiar face is wearing what seems to be a maid outfit.

Which she doesn't have a problem with, because she is completely into maids.

Not to mention the person wearing the maid outfit is someone she actually likes, since it's Keiichi. Although this certainly is a first impression of his world. Just give her a second to take her cellphone out and take a picture... ]

Looks I'm going to be saving that forever, Keiichi-chan.

[ Inaba Himeko is absolutely the worst. Maybe he should be lucky that he's the only one here with her for the time being and the other club members aren't here... (For now.) ]

They'd probably have a hard time believing it at first, but if I told them that was really happened, at the very least... they'd think that I believed it.

[ He tries to shrug off his embarrassment, glancing aside and reaching out for her hands. This is the first that he's touched her in a very long time, and as simple as a gesture as it is, it makes his heart race. ]

They'll probably be really confused, though. And you might not wanna tell them too much about the future, just in case.

That's true. I mean, it's a pretty difficult thing to believe, to say the least. But if you say that... they must be good friends, to have you trust in them this much.

[ She smiles, although when he reaches out for hands, she can't help but blush a little bit because of how intimate the gesture is. It really has been a while since they've had this chance to do anything together. ]

Ahaha... don't worry, don't worry. I never told you too much about the future, so it's fine.

That's right... it would probably rip a hole in time and space entirely if we knew too much about it.

[ But really, a hole wouldn't be too bad if it meant he could go see her.

He glances down at their hands, then back up at her. And for a second, he's unsure of what else to say or do. But ultimately, he doesn't even give her much of a chance to respond at all before he leans in, giving in to the emotions that are finally screaming at him now that his initial surprise and embarrassment have worn off. And when his lips meet hers, it's not a light, gentle peck, but a passionate kiss.

He's missed her too much to hold back, or to care that he's in a maid outfit right now. ]

[ While he might not mind as much, Inaba does actually care about that sort of thing. If only because she doesn't want to somehow do something that could potentially jeopardize her own future.

But she isn't given a single second to even respond as he kisses her with such intensity that she can't help but let out a soft, yearning sound. Even though she's a little self-aware about her surroundings, she can't bring herself to care. If anyone wants to come, then fine!! This is his fault, anyway. ]

[ It would be really easy to lose himself in the moment and forget all about what's going on. He's already mostly forgotten about the maid costume, at least until she draws attention to it again. In fact, his first instinct is to deepen the kiss, to see about making up for lost time right here and now.

But he manages to restrain himself, just barely, so that by the time he pulls away and rests his head against hers, he's only somewhat breathless instead of completely breathless. ]

...I really missed you, you know.

[ That's an understatement, btw. ]

[ To be fair, if she did mention it, she's certain that he's going to get embarrassed again, so she won't. For now. Well, it's more like she wants to wait for the right moment to bring it up again... ]

I missed you, too. A lot, actually. That's why I absolutely had to come here.

[ She came here just for him... because of course she would. And here he was, trying to get his life back to the way it was before they met. ]

I... I didn't think I'd ever get to see you again. And you've already figured out a way to come to my world.

[ He laughs a little, trying to hide the fact that he's getting a little choked up. ]

Well, I was always going to find a way here. I knew that I'd be able to, since we were able to meet in the first place. I'm just the smarter one.

I wanna argue with you, but it's kind of hard to argue with someone who just traveled through time...

[ And it's just burning his butt not being able to say anything about that. ]

Good, because you honestly shouldn't be arguing with me to begin with. Especially not in that.

[ He starts to react to that, the beginnings of a protest making its way out of his mouth as his cheeks turn a bright red again. But then, he manages to calm himself down, albeit reluctantly. ]

...Well, at least I know you and Mion are gonna get along just fine.

[ Maybe. He's kind of dense, and this is still July of Shōwa 58, so... ]

Heeh. . . you think so? I'm not really the type of person who actually make friends all that easily.

[ Although she doesn't mind being friends with Keiichi's friends, probably. She's just bad at it. ]

Neither was I before I moved here. Rena, Mion, Satoko, Hanyuu, Rika-chan... they'll all probably welcome you with open arms.

[ Especially if they pick up on the fact that she's a potential ally in facilitating his suffering. ]

Wait. Seriously?

[ Can you hear how shocked she sounds, Keiichi? But then hums to herself and just places her hand under her chin with a bit of thought. ] No, wait, I can totally see it.
