⚔ thirsty voice test ( gen + nsfw prompts )
OKAY SO: I've got a new character who I need to voice test and a bunch of wild prompts, why am I like this. Prompts will be labeled as safe or explicit, although some in the safe category can be explicit, just talk to me (either on Discord at Len#0139 or my plurk at
endlesseight), I'm willing to work with you or y'all can just ask questions at me.
Also as a heads up, I'm still in the midst of early CS2 but am aware of spoilers from CS3/CS4 but I won't spoil any of that unless you want them, I'll warn if necessary. Just let me know.
Now the prompts:
1. Werewolf AU; basically replace his "ogre drive" with him being a werewolf and being completely aware of what he is but also absolutely terrified of it and stays away from people so that he doesn't hurt people as he can't control himself during the full moons.
2. Amnesia; a full blown amnesia set up where Rean doesn't remember anything, not even his name. A part of me wants fucked up shit with this and having people control him because he can't remember anything, but I can also go with soft amnesia with a lot of comforting.
3. Groundhog Day; This mostly works better with canonmates, but basically a timeloop AU where they remember each loop and try to fix things but keeps on fucking up.
4. [NSFW] Demon AU; Rean as a demon (incubus) prince where he has "ogre drive" as a thing that activates when he is extremely hungry because he's not good at his job. He tries.
5. [NSFW] Ogre Drive Thirst; Replace "aggressive and murder" with "aggressive and thirsty".
6. Wildcard me! Ask me for prompts, I'm willing to come up with starters. I have some horrendously specific stuff but other than that, come at me, I'm ripped.

3, CS2 spoilers
It would be a horrific nightmare, if Elliot hadn't lost count of exactly how many times he'd seen it play out just like that, and if Elliot weren't fully aware every second of it was real.
Groaning and rubbing his face, he drags himself out of bed and makes his way over to his calendar on the wall of his dorm just to be sure.
Yep. Same date as always, just a few days before the concert.
The others never remember. Really, Elliot's not sure why he does, but here he is. And really, it's not as if he can blame the source of all of this for wanting to try again.
The sting of yet another failure heavy on his heart, he forces himself to tug on some vaguely presentable clothes for the day and makes his way out into the common area downstairs, already well aware of who he'll find there before him.
He puts on his bravest gentle smile as he calls out.]
Hey, Rean.
cracks knuckles and starts sobbing tbh
At first, he was the only one who recalled the loops.
Maybe it was due to his abilities as the Ashen Awakener that allowed it. But after a few loops, Elliot was caught into this mess. He started retaining memories from the other timelines and that alone terrified him.
He just wants it all to stop. He's so tired.
How many times does he have to keep doing this until he breaks? No, he's already broken, isn't he. But he has to play it off, same as always. Can't let anyone know that he's all torn up inside.
At the very least, when he sees Elliot, he manages to crack a smile, even if it doesn't entirely meet his eyes. ]
Morning, Elliot.
[ He can at least pretend in front of his very best friend, just for now until it all repeats again. But he'd rather not think about it. ]
Did you get some good rest last night?
this is why you don't let me write starters!
About as well as you, I bet.
[Even if he's calling Rean out more than a little bit, he's as gentle as ever. He reaches out a hand to take Rean's, cupping it with his other hand as he holds it to his chest. Just as he will about a month from now, thrilled to pieces to see his friend again even if by now, he's played this scenario out enough times to be all but certain Rean will survive.
But things change with every attempt they make. Things change, and Elliot can never be sure that this time around, the thing that changes won't be them losing Rean.
They'll have to make their plans for this attempt soon. See what they can change, how small or how drastic it might be. But for now...]
It's just us... pretty sure no one else is up yet. [He turns that smile up toward Rean, and it's a little more genuine now. One of them has to hold out hope.] It's okay. You don't have to fake it for me, you know that.
bold of you to assume I didn't walk into this
Maybe this time, Crow—
Or maybe he's too hopeful when he's been shot down so many times in so many ways, in so many lifetimes.
He's an Awakener too, so he should have remembered everything. At least, that's where Rean's logic goes so many times. But he can never tell. Maybe it's possible he never could.
But then he sees that smile on Elliot and knows that he really can relax a little and be a little more earnest with him. Even though he knows that... ]
It's okay, I'll be fine.
[ No, he won't. Not with how much he's crumbling and falling apart on the spot and this cycle has barely even started. ]
I just honestly don't know what to do anymore. I'm still...
[ He feels so weak with every passing failure. With every moment he has to watch the scene happen in front of his eyes and he can't do anything to stop it, even with the knowledge he has. ]
no subject
[Even if it doesn't always work out.]
Just... it's okay to not be fine, you know? You're always a shoulder to cry on for all of us... for me, every single time we go through this.
I want to be there for you, too, Rean.
no subject
"What if we don't this time? We've done this more times that I can count on my fingers and the end result is the same each and every single time. Who's to say that this isn't going to be like the last?
Like it always does?"
But he bites those negative words back, instead just laughing a little bitterly, his smile a little strained.
He knows Elliot's right, however. But he doesn't want to feel like this anymore.
And he's trying to convince himself as much as he's trying to convince his friend, really. ]
... I know. I'm sorry.
[ There's a lot of things that apology is for, although a good amount if it is self blame. For getting him involved. ]
no subject
He doesn't really need to say anything at all for Elliot to know exactly how he's feeling. It's not as if he doesn't share that negativity, those concerns – he's just trying to pull himself together the same way he's asking Rean not to. Which makes him a hypocrite, he knows that, but... isn't it fine, if it's for Rean, just this once?
Still, there's not much he can say in return. Instead, he lets that hand go and steps forward to close the distance between them, arms slipping gently around Rean's middle and holding him close.]
Don't be. [And at least with this, he sounds confident.] ...I want this to work just as badly as you do, you know.
no subject
In the end, they're still kids trying to do an adult's job because they're both so very aware that this is something only they can do. It's a heavy burden that they're carrying on their backs, and Rean wants to see it through to the very end.
But even as Elliot's trying to reassure him, say that it's alright as he closes the distance so easily between the two of them, he can't help but feel those dark thoughts slip back into the recesses of his mind.
...
Taking a breath of his own to calm himself, shake those out he wraps his arms around Elliot a bit, making it more obvious just how shaken up he is. It's slight, but he's trembling just a bit. ]
I know. I... know, but still. I just want to keep everyone together.
[ It's a selfish admission, one that is probably the sole reason why things kept on repeating over and over like this.
It was his fault. ]
I'm still sorry, though.
no subject
[And Elliot just hugs Rean a little tighter, as if that will take away his trembling, as if that has a chance of fixing any of this.
Really, he knows it won't. He knows the only thing that could even start to make things better is for one of their attempts to work. But even so, he wants it to have some effect.
He's trying to channel so much into this, hoping Rean will pick up on any of it: that he doesn't hate him, that he doesn't blame him. That Rean matters more to him than anyone in the world.]
I want that, too. I just want us all to be together as friends at the end, the way we should be...
[And although normally, he'd think better of it, he bites his lips before softly admitting a part of what he's feeling out loud.]
I just want you to be able to smile again for real. If I have to cry a million more times to find the way that makes that happen, then I'll do it. I don't have any regrets.
no subject
As much as he wants it all to just simply be fixed with the snap of his fingers, reality just simply doesn't work that way. But he understands just how much Elliot cares. And not just him. The others care, too.
They care a lot, even if they don't remember. But with the cycle repeating endlessly like this, he can't help but feel his heart ache in a way that's all too familiar at this point. Way too familiar. ]
Elliot. I don't... [ He hesitates for a moment, the words caught slightly in his throat. ] I don't want to see everyone's faces so sad anymore. That includes yours, too. You shouldn't have to cry for my sake. Please.
no subject
[He pulls away only enough to look up at him, because he needs Rean to know he's sincere.]
If I've learned anything through all of this, it's that we should choose our paths for ourselves. And the path I want to follow is the one you're taking, because you're on it.
no subject
[ Rean's quiet for yet another few moments, completely at a loss for words. It honestly kind of startles him a bit, really when the words finally reach his ears and he comprehends them.
His hands move towards Elliot's shoulders now, and while the shaking in his fingertips might have stopped, the grip there is a little tight. ]
You-
[ ...Deep breaths, Rean Schwarzer. ]
Thank you, Elliot. I mean it, really. But I still mean what I said. If we're going to carve a path towards the future... It has to be a happy one.
no subject
There's always a little stab of pain that comes alongside Rean's surprise whenever he expresses that he cares for him. Elliot must have told him a million different times, a million different ways...
He'll just have to keep trying until it sticks.
He nods at Rean's words.]
I know, and I'm with you. So even if it doesn't work this time, or the time after that... we're just going to keep trying until it does.
no subject
[ He's quiet for another moment, shutting his eyes closed to figure out what he wants to say. Elliot's got his back, after all. ]
No. We'll make it work this time for sure.
[ Conviction slips in his voice before he opens his eyes to give Elliot a rather serious look. ]
We have to. We can't just have this keep on repeating and have it keep on repeating over and over like this.
no subject
...
Thoughts like that can be saved for when this is all over. And it will be over, soon. It has to be.]
Right.
[The conviction echoes in his own voice, accentuated with a single nod.]
We'll make it work no matter what tries to get in our way.
no subject
[ "No matter what tries to get in our way," huh.
They're definitely going to have to fight a lot of people again, aren't they? But he can save that all for later, really. ]
We have to make it work. But let's just take it one day at a time and figure things out as we go.
no subject
[Pleased enough with that answer, Elliot just pulls himself close to Rean for one more quick hug before pulling away.]
For now... breakfast? We could wait for Sharon, but it's been a while since I've been able to get in the kitchen, it feels.
no subject
[ The hug - even as quick as it is, is earnestly warm and reassuring. It's something that he honestly wouldn't say no to more of. ]
Honestly, I'm surprised that Sharon hasn't somehow managed to get down here before us and already have it prepared.
[ Watch him jinx that. ]
no subject
[...Okay, he has to know.]
I wonder...
[He wanders off to go check the dining area and the kitchen which are both thankfully(?) Sharon-free.]
Huh. She actually didn't. Well, more room for us! How do you feel about omelets?
no subject
That's surprising. ]
Yeah, guess so. [ He smiles at his classmate, something a little more genuine. ] And I'd love omelets. They actually sound pretty good right about now.
no subject
All right! Then... [He goes to retrieve some eggs, butter, and a frying pan.] You're on prep duty. Pick out whatever you want in it and dice it up for me, 'kay?
[He has learned not to leave Rean in charge. If there is anything that has stuck with him after all these tries, it's that Rean's cooking still leaves plenty to be desired.]
no subject
[ He says those words in a rather chipper sing-song tone as he goes right to one of the cabinets as he sifts through them as he goes ahead to grab various food - cheese, mushrooms, bacon and onion along with a knife to start chopping them nice and even, doing one ingredient at a time.
It's not perfect, but it's... workable, at least.
Once that's said and done, he puts the knife down and wipes his brow, sighing a bit. ]
Alright, that's done. Is there anything else you want me to do?
no subject
Oh, already? Awesome!
Bring those over here, then if you can set the table? I think that'll be about it!
no subject
Although he laughs a little awkwardly at the slight praise at how fast it was, as if it really isn't that big of a deal. ]
Alright, I can do that.
[ And he'll bring over the chopped ingredients to Ellio with ease before going through the cabinets to set the table and he pauses-- ]
Oh, yeah. Elliot, should I just set the table for the two of us?
[ Or are we having enough omelettes for the whole class, that's the important question here. ]
