you have rean schwarzer, your jrpg protag with a special ability that he can't entirely control for long periods of time and even has a giant robot - he also uses a japanese eastern sword and likes helping out other people but is also kind of dead on the inside as of the end of cs2. he also feels kind of directionless sometimes and has a lot of self loathing but he's Fine :')

and then there's crow armbrust aka 'who the fuck allowed sakurai to play a flirt in bandana and looks unfairly hot in a butler uniform'. he also does what he wants and tries not to have regrets. he's a slacker and likes gambling but when it matters the most he's there for you.

[It had been a couple of weeks ever since they first arrived in what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse. They were lucky enough to find items that could help their survival and there was no want for much, if anything.

Even if the warehouse was practically abandoned outside of their group, that didn't change much about how bad it all was.

He still remembers the initial announcement when they woke up, hearing from the robotic voice:

"Good morning, everyone. You all have been selected to participate in the game by yours truly. Now, you've probably figured it out by now, but you have received two items-"

And as they droned on to explain the cellphone that would be used throughout the game as a 'voting' device for the trials, and how one of them was a "liar" that was making an attempt at killing each and every one of them. It was stressful. And a lot of people wounded up getting scapegoated.

Not to mention, he...

In one of the rooms, he takes out his tachi - an item that was supposedly gifted to them by their mysterious host - and practices a few swings before he senses that someone else is there, sheathing the sword.]

[ this was a nightmare -- nearly as nightmarish as her entire experience with aizen was. nothing could truly ever top that, but this "game" they've been put in is truthfully unfair.

momo's tried countless times to find a way out, to stop people from committing these murders, but to no avail. truthfully, it's weighing on her psyche. she's growing more and more tired with each passing day...

but she's relying on others for support. like rean. she thinks that he's someone she can trust, though her instincts haven't always been reliable. still...here, she doesn't have much else.

she sees him in the training room, zanpaktuo sheathed at her side until she gets to a training dummy. she unsheathes it, making her presence known. ]
