Even if she wasn't going to be playing the role of Hoshino Ai in the movie - that was a role that she had conceded to Ruby - that didn't mean that she couldn't use this knowledge or talent of hers in other ways.
She had to stop Aqua.
If she allowed his plan to come to fruition, then he'll certainly destroy himself...
...and all that would be left of him would be a hollow shell, with nothing to live for but revenge. And what would happen to him after?
This would take some time to prepare for, but that's fine. If he's using a movie to destroy his father, she has plenty of time; production on those sorts of things wasn't a one and done thing, after all.
A distraction should do. If she can actually get him to think about anything besides revenge, convince him that this is all wrong and get something out of it, then they can call it at that.
A happily ever after, so to speak.
She knew that his 'ideal girl' was someone like Ai: someone who shined bright on stage, but was hiding a lot of darkness in her heart. And as someone who has done extensive research on her, she can act the role. It's the only thing that she's found herself actually good at, after all.
And... this would do, as repayment for everything.
He saved her life back then. Now she has to save his. She needs to utilize 110% of her efforts... which is why she gets properly dressed and searches him out. She'd like to think that she has a good sense of fashion so picking out an outfit that would suit 'Ai' would be simple. It was definitely more in the vein of tomboyish looks, something more loose fitting: pants over skirts, maybe even a cap as an accessory. Sneakers, no heels. She even fixes her hair, too.
Once that's said and done, she searches for him. It shouldn't be difficult; she knows him, after all, like the back of her hand. He may be smart, intelligent even, but he can't escape her.
And when she sees him, he'll notice her bright, captivating eyes that people can't turn away from; this isn't the normal Kurokawa Akane-- no, this is her acting skill completely at play. ]

That's fine.
The only unfortunate bit is the fact that people seem to bother caring about him. It won't be good for any of them in the long run. There's a reason he's been trying to distance himself from those who thought they were close.
Akane may have made her declaration of war, but there's very little that's getting him off this path.
He looks up when he hears her, and... oh. So she's playing that game is she?]

[ Akane's own smile doesn't fade in the slightest, even as he gives that look towards her. She said she's going to stop him, so she will. By any means possible. The path that he's taken is wrong, and she can't allow him to live a life focused solely on revenge.
There's a bit of a pout in her voice, though, as she continues: ]
And here I was hoping that we could at least get along. We're still going to be co-workers, after all!
