call me out: 2022 edition

it's the start of a new year, so new call me out! a lot of the characters i have here are obscure, but i do have some non-obscures. all characters will have a description listed below, and don't worry about being canon unfamiliar: if you have any questions or wish to discuss detailed plotting (although you can do that in this post, too) please let me know at tsundereban or Len#9692.

himeko inaba ( kokoro connect ) a young girl - age varying depending on canonpoint or AU - who has deeply rooted trust issues, and because of that, she's opted to become observant and analyzes the situations around her. she cares about her friends deeply, but she has a tendency to hide it ( along with any other weakness ) as she's super insecure about how she comes off to other people. she doesn't want to be seen as weak, in spite of actually being weak.

rika furude ( higurashi no naku koro ni ) three variants of her exist. there is her at a small age, around ~6 years old or so, her 11 year old variant, and her teenage variant. in canon, rika is a mischievious girl who acts pure and innocent around others and blends in rather well with her surroundings. and with higurashi spoilers: she is also someone who has died and looped the year 1983 for over a hundred years.

mion sonozaki ( higurashi no naku koro ni ) two variants of her exist. i have both her younger iteration and her older gou variant. basically yakuza, mion is the heir of the sonozaki family. in spite of this, however, she's a caring girl who thinks about her friends first and is willing to do a lot for those that she cares for. acts tomboyish and calls herself 'uncle' or 'old geezer' but is actually girlish on the inside. she loves to play games, but not ones that don't have penalty games. also soft, but is well versed in the art of kicking your ass.

shion sonozaki ( higurashi no naku koro ni ) younger twin sister of mion, and is girlish on the inside. enjoys bullying, teasing, and flirting but has a lot of insecurities that she's good at hiding.

satoko houjou ( higurashi no naku koro ni ) specifically, her gou/sotsu variant. teenage girl who is mischievious and enjoys using traps to her advantage. also, spoilers: she also at one point considers herself a 'witch' that can basically timeloop. she's dealt with a lot of trauma and projects her problems to other people, but it's fine.

bernkastel ( umineko no naku koro ni ) the witch of miracles. known as the cruelest witch in the world. don't bore her, alright...?

sakura matou ( fate/ ) a young teen that's dealt with a lot of cw: abuse but is a kind girl at heart. she loves to cook and clean and is also rather good at archery. dark sakura variant also available.

zange/hakua suzushiro ( kannagi ) goddess that's possessing a girl's body. over the top and the younger sister. loves attention. she's also an ~idol~ of sorts but her singing is godawful.

melissa 'mucchi' crown ( original character ) calf turned human thanks to a person's wish. youngest sibling in a family of three. is part of a singing duo with her older, much more naive brother. a little mischievous.

marie amabuki ( caligula effect 2 ) spoiler territory. someone who is trapped in a virtual world and acts as the kind president of the school in that world.

Alright. Well.

[ He. Reaches into his blazer's pocket, taking a deep breath. Definitely very nervous. ]

It's... it's nothing... official, I'd say, but...

[ He does indeed, draw out a tiny ring box. The ring inside is... well, nothing fairly special. It's the best he can do from the school store, really. ]

[dereban]

...you...actually got a ring?

[taketori]

[ ...when she says it like that, it just makes him that much more nervous about it?! ]

I... I know you said you wanted one. Even though it's a bit early... I still want people to know that I've promised this to you.

[dereban]

I--

[ ... ]

Can I wear it now?

[taketori]

Should...

Should I... put it on for you?

[ Isn't that how this works? ]

[dereban]

[ She nods. ]

Yeah. That'd be nice.

[taketori]

[ This shouldn't be as nervewracking as it is, but it was also a level of commitment that he wasn't even considering until very recently.

Removing the ring from its box, he gently takes Inaba's hand, and carefully, very carefully, slides it onto her ring finger. ]

...I'll get you a better one some day. Promise.

[dereban]

It's okay. It's the thought that counts, anyway... but I really am surprised, you know. Anyway, I suppose I really am going to have to drag you back into the room.

[taketori]

A good surprise, I hope--

[ Sheesh, Inaba. He exhales, not realizing he was holding in a breath. ]

If... if that's what you want, we can go.

[dereban]

Of course it's a good surprise! But - yeah. I mean... I get to do whatever I want, right? So... that's my answer.

[taketori]

Of course. So then... we'll head back.

[ As soon as he keeps his heart from slamming around in his chest. Whew... okay. Now comes the mental preparation for... whatever ideas she may have with this. ]

[dereban]

[ And so she leads the way into the dorm room. Because of course she does. Naturally, she's going to lock the door behind them once they're there. ]

I still can ask... for more things, right...?

[taketori]

Yeah. I mean, it's still your birthday... uh, anything. Feel free.

[dereban]

I... can ask for another kiss then, right?

[taketori]

Yeah. I mean... you can ask for as many as you want. I don't mind.

[dereban]

Then... kiss me again, Miyuki.

[taketori]

[ As she wishes. Miyuki leans down, hands placed on her shoulders again as he lightly kisses her, not breaking away too quickly this time around. ]

[dereban]

[ She feels like she has so much power. But not in the bad way, because she doesn't mind it. In fact, when the kiss lingers a little more this time around, she decides to take the initiative and press herself against him, wanting to intensify the kiss just a little. ]

[taketori]

[ And intensified it is, and he finds himself stepping back for just a second before he matches that, daring to part his lips and deciding now would be the best time to shed his blazer, not breaking away from her for a second. ]

[dereban]

[ Well, it's clear that neither of them want to back away. Which is fine with her, because she wants to stick this one out for the long haul. But of course, that means accepting his silent offering of having his lips part to slip her tongue in, eager and wanting. ]

[taketori]

[ They were both extremely eager, and he can feel it in how accepting she is of him, but... he figures, this isn't everything. Naturally.

He mumbles. ]

...should... we move to the bed?

[dereban]

[ She can feel it in the way her heart races for him, pounding loudly in her chest, especially when he speaks up again.

All Inaba can simply do is nod wordlessly, really. ]

[taketori]

[ She'd gotten so shy and quiet again...

Miyuki gives her one more light kiss and then breaks away, leading her to the bed... but, sitting on the edge of it, not doing much of anything else just yet. ]

...what would you like, Himeko?

[dereban]

[ The way he asks her what she wants, especially after kissing her lightly and leading her right towards the bed makes her face redden in response.

What does she like...?

That answer is simply. ]

I want you. I can have you, can't I?

[taketori]

[ He gives her a light chuckle, speaking softly. ]

I'm already yours. You can have all of me.
