SATOKOOOOO
It's a bit awkward for him, though. He could feel her chest pressed up against his back. Damn it... This would be a lot easier for me if she was flat-chested! Ugh, he'd have to put up with it even if he secretly didn't mind.]
Hey... Houjou, you alright? You're a lot heavier than you look, you know.
[That's the most "delicate" way that he was going to handle that.]

[ She says those words with obvious exhaustion; it's clear with the way that she speaks that she isn't in the proper mood to go 'ohoho' or anything like that...
Or so she'd have him believe, anyway. ]
no subject
Wanna tell me what happened? Looks like you got into a fight back there.

[ Her gaze shifts away uncomfortably; the less she has to say, the better. Of course, she can go full ham and come up with with a whole backstory... and she has--but only if she needs to. ]

Looks like no one's in here. But guess I'll have to do my best... Kamijou-san's more used to being on the other end of treatment, though.
[He says this as he puts Satoko on one of the the cot beds.]
You look pretty bruised, but I can get some disinfectant and bandages. Is there anywhere that seriously hurts?

hello hanny
[It wouldn't had been the first time that Kevin had woken up in a room that wasn't his own and it certainly wasn't the last. Observing the room around him, it appeared that there weren't any exit doors or windows. But he could smell the disinfectant in the air... All that he could see was a large bed with extravagant red covers, a bathroom/shower room and various cabinets with what he assumed were tools inside.
On the bed was a young woman with purple hair and a set of horns. The horns catch Kevin off guard for a moment before he walks over to gently stroke her cheek as an attempt to wake her up.]

Morni--
[ She cuts herself off. ]
Wait. Where are we...?

[Whoever bought them here had wanted the two of them to get cozy. But that's whenever a blank monitor comes down from the ceiling. There's static on the screen before it comes down to display a message:
Greetings, players. I would like to play a game with you. In order to escape from this vicinity, you will need to complete a series of tasks involving sexual intimacy as your keys to escape. Withdrawal from the game will result in elimination for the players. Do you accept these conditions?]
Wait, wait, wait! This is a joke, right?! Does 'elimination' mean what I think it means here or is there some fine print that we're missin'?!
no subject
[ She reads the message herself, eyes growing wide in surprise as she reads it. ]
I'm not sure this is a joke. But... au... this kind of thing... they really expect that from us?

[Kevin couldn't help and scratch his head awkwardly. Not the ideal place to do it with a woman nor the type of flavor he'd like, but...]
Whaddya say, Hanny? If you're okay with a guy like me, then I'm willing to do this for sake of our escape here.

room to be determined soonish, also finally this AU
There were no obvious exits, nothing he could instantly recognize as a camera, meaning if one existed, it was actually hidden quite well. The layout seemed to be that of a "cozy" log cottage, as cozy as one could feel while being held captive. Two chairs next to a small wooden table-- on top of which, are six sealed water bottles, with a tiny booklet next to it. A fireplace, with logs still burning inside. A potential way to escape, if he needs it. Although, the question was: was he capable of doing so. He finally takes notice of a bracelet on his wrist, which certainly couldn't just be there as a "harmless present".
Finally, his eyes move to the person he had fallen asleep next to on the bed. A dangerous surprise, currently still sleeping. Dark black hair, a black dress, a gold hairband... a woman he had encountered a couple times now, all resulting in attempted murders against him, and a close escape each time.
Thorn Princess.
Waking her up might be the worst possible solution right now... however, he doesn't have much in the way of options.
Right now, he decides to carefully leave the bed, to at least put some distance between the two. Hoping that this movement doesn't stir her from her sleep. ]
no subject
...
Oh.
It's that man. Could he have been the one who had done this...?
If he's the culprit then perhaps she should pretend to sleep still. Maybe then she can figure out his plans. ]
no subject
Come on, Twilight. Think.
Finally, he's decided to head over to the table to finally check out that booklet. He still felt an odd haze forming in his head, but he pressed forward to pick it up and leaf through a couple pages...
There were multiple points where he stopped reading, completely blindsided by the absolute absurdity of it all, before he slams the book back onto the table. That may cause her to stir, although at the moment that's the furthest thing from his mind. Instead, it was the contents of said booklet, leading him to try massaging his temples, idly pinching at the sides of his eyes. ]
This must be an elaborate joke--
[ At this point, Twilight's decided to glance back at the bed. He has a few options, but he isn't sure which to take as he regards the assassin with a cautious glare.
Regardless of what he thinks at the moment, he'll have to wake her up.
Meaning, he'll have to approach the bed once more... ]
no subject
That's strange.
So someone kidnapped both of them? How strange. Whoever did this must be powerful indeed. She'll pretend to be asleep for just a second more, waiting for him to actually properly address her. ]
no subject
He sits at the edge of the bed, knowing he's going to have to poke the proverbial bear at some point, so... he decides to hesitantly reach out to nudge her shoulder, in order to ensure that she wakes up. ]

mafuyu let's goooooo
But everything else... the bed felt different, the sheets not as soft yet smelling freshly washed. There's a strange pressure around her neck as well, that she's certain isn't one of Mafuyu's arms.]
Mmm...
[It's not that there are alarm bells going off in her head quite yet, but it's enough that her brain isn't slowly sliding back into the fog of sleep. So she sits up, rubbing her eyes-
... And then she takes in the surroundings that are very much not her room.]
...!
[In an instant one hand reaches down, shaking Mafuyu's shoulder to wake her up.
The room is... disarmingly nice. The bed they're in is large, probably large enough for the both of them to stretch out, and everything from the sheets to the walls to the soft-looking carpet have been done up in soothing, creamy tones. There's a plain desk on the opposite wall, with nothing decorating it, and a few soft cushions piled in one corner.
The nightstand on Mafuyu's side of the bed has two drawers set into it, and a few sheets of paper on top of it. Should she get up and try the door... well. As simple as the door itself looks, there's a strange electronic lock built into it.
84 years later
[ Mafuyu finds herself woken up by the familiar presence, letting out a bit of a slightly groggy, soft noise as she tries to get up from the bed, only to realize that...
Ah.
They are definitely not in either of their familiar rooms. ]
This place is... different.
[ Nailed it. ]
throws this back EVEN LATER
[Blunt as always. Honestly, it's kind of comforting? Grounding, in a strange way. If Mafuyu wasn't her normal self, then Kanade really would've started freaking out; there's still a nervous buzz in her chest and an uncomfortable prickling at the back of her neck, but she can keep that in check. For now, at least.
As she turns away from their worryingly new surroundings, Kanade catches something... off about her partner.]
... Hey, what's that?
[She reaches out, touching something around Mafuyu's neck. It's... a collar, solid and heavy like it's made of metal, but covered in smooth, comfortable leather. There's no visible latch, and it's fit snugly enough that it can't be moved too much, but won't impede breathing or circulation.]
no worries! anyway, just gonna pick at the sekai lore and bullshit my way through this,
[ Or perhaps it's one of those fragmented SEKAI that she heard about from Miku a while ago. It feels... odd, though. It's very different from the vast loneliness of the Empty SEKAI or the suffocation of the overwhelming library.
Not to mention she doesn't recall touching any glowing orbs recently.
But if this is meant to be a SEKAI of sorts, then whose? Hers? Kanade's? What kind of feeling is it supposed to even represent? There's a lot of questions whirring around in Mafuyu's head but she isn't able to think much on it before Kanade actually reaches out--
And she finally realizes what's around her neck.
Ah.
She brings a hand towards her neck as well, feeling it and the uneasy feeling sinks in again. Maybe this was her fault. The lyrics resound in the back of her mind:
In the far-off, distant past, there was once a coiling collar.
“I want people, I want people,” it cried, this cursed collar.
Was that why she wasn't alone? Why Kanade was here...? Even though she wasn't struggling with her breathing, she couldn't help but feel something twist in her chest, uneasy.
It's only when she lets out a breath she didn't think she was even holding that she finally speaks, lowering her hand by her side. ]
It seems to be a collar.
[ Asahina Mafuyu: stating things as bluntly as humanly possible. ]

Could they have dreamed the same thing last night? It couldn't have just been because they fell asleep together - that was far from the first time they wound up in each others' arms. And they've been... well. As honest as they could be with each other, given their circumstances. So what...?]
A collar...
[Huh. Kanade reaches up to touch her own neck, finding the same band around her own neck. That certainly explains the weight, but not the purpose.]
... Well, if this is one of those SEKAI that Miku mentioned, then at least we're safe. It'll probably disappear after a little while. [... She can tell, just by the way Mafuyu seems to sag a little, that something must be one her mind. So Kanade gives her one of those warm, reassuring smiles, before cupping her cheek with the hand that had previously been fiddling with her collar.] It'll all be okay.
[And she could just leave it at that. She could just lay back down and pull Mafuyu with her and doze off until the SEKAI's time ran its course. But... she's still curious as to why they're here. So she looks around, looking for anything off, until she spots the sheets of paper left on the nightstand - a small table with several drawers set into it - beside them. She reaches out to pick them up, eyes skimming what was written down-]
... Huh?!
[And she immediately turns a bright, vibrant shade of red.]

Some think that he might have dropped out, or that he's extremely sick, but one thing's for sure. He's absolutely been radio silent since the day after Valentine's Day.
