[Usually when he arrives in a new place, there's nothing that specifically catches his attention. But as soon as he took flight over Tokyo he felt a call. A beacon of demonic energy that lured him like a bug zapper.

As he hovered over the small cafe he watched as a cat lept out the window and trotted away- ah, so an open way in~ Soon he was crouching on the window sill, shapeless and unseen for now, curious on what human could shine so very brightly]

[ Well, nobody was in the cafe proper, but there is a young teen clearly asleep in bed. Because if there's one thing that Akira is good at, it's following habit and going the fuck to sleep.

It's fine, probably. ]

Sakura

[Ever since he started dating Sakura, Aisaku's life had gotten more busy. Being a boyfriend senpai and a superhero who fought shadow monsters on the side could be pretty taxing! Aisaku didn't regret it one bit, though. But not only did the Schatten attacks have been increasing lately, Aisaku had noticed that Sakura had gone missing. He dare not think about the scary thought of Sakura being devoured by one of those shadow monsters. He was supposed to be the boogieman who stomped them away! She had been acting a little off lately, but if there was something wrong with her... Then she would've told him, right? As a boyfriend and a senpai, he had to be her pillar of strength.

But it was strange... The night air felt far more humid than usual. He could feel himself swearing underneath his clothing with an urge that he couldn't express. Not only that, Aisaku could've sworn that he had been walking down this alleyway for the third time in a row. His nightly patrol for her usually went until he had gotten tired. It's already felt like too long since he's seen her face, her smile...]

Sakuraaaaaaaaaaa!!! Where are you?!

[ At the sound of the name being called, one would expect that the person would show up, right? That just isn't the case, this time. At least, not entirely.

What shows in her stead is a shadow black and red shadow creature, standing menacingly in the middle of the night; surrounded by several other shadow creatures.

It was obvious which one was the leader, naturally, but while neither of them were attacking Aisaku, the 'leader' was certainly making its way closer to him. How peculiar. ]

[Almost immediately from seeing the shadow creatures, Aisaku activates his Shadow Cloak and dons his armor as the Imperial Guardian. He shifts himself into his fighting stance as he was ready for combat. They weren't attacking him, but that didn't mean he wouldn't.]

Damn it! I don't have time to play with you guys! I'm looking for someone!

[The leader was approaching him, so he would strike first! Lunging in, Aisaku goes in for a punch towards the creature. The last thing he wanted was to lose more important people to these bastards!]

[ The shadow doesn't seem to dodge his punch; instead it just seems to suck the impact in and if he isn't too careful, it plans to suck him in as well.

But there's a familiar voice that comes from the shadow, reverberating. ]

That hurts, senpai. . . and I thought that you actually cared.

[redmeansgo]

[Huh? Aisaku pulls back his punch as he leaps back. He was hearing things, right? The Schatten were growing stronger, but there was no way that they could imitate a human's voice that perfectly.]

Wha-? Sakura?! [He quickly shakes his head in denial.] No... You're just pretending to be her! Where the fuck do you get off stealing her voice!?

Ahh, I really am hurt.

[ And it's right then and there that the shadow seems to shift, sinking into the ground like water before eventually reforming back into the shape of Sakura. Except her hair was tinted white like snow and her eyes were a blood red. ]

You really think I'm pretending?

Sakura...

[The face was undeniably hers. She looked different as if she was going through a delinquent phase.. But this was definitely Sakura. It's enough for Aisaku to deactivate his Shadow Cloak as it dissolves into the ground.]

Do you know how long I've been looking for you? Me and everyone else have been worried! What are you doing lookin' like that?

[alreadybroken]

Looking like "that"? Are you saying you don't like me like. . .

[ She pauses as she brings her hand to the side of his face if he'll let her. ]

. . . this?

[redmeansgo]

T-That's not what I meant...

[Aisaku flinches against her touch. It felt colder compared to the warmth he felt whenever they held hands... But this was still Sakura. Being naive and idealisitic as ever, he couldn't help and suddenly wrap his arms around Sakura for an embrace. This was still his girlfriend and he really missed her.]

It's just you look so different! But that doesn't matter to me right now... What's important is that I found you! I don't know why you're playing with these Schatten... But let's go home together, okay?

[alreadybroken]

No.

[ Her words are almost immediate and in spite of him holding onto her, so cold in contrast to his warmth, she moves away from him. Dark red eyes glare at him angrily, in a little frustration. ]

You really don't get it, do you, senpai? I'm not playing with them. . . I was the one who created them in the first place. So if you really want to accept me, you'll have to accept them, too. But if you don't want to, then I suppose I could swallow you whole instead.

Sakura... You don't want to hurt me. I know that because I don't want to hurt you.

[What kind of logic was that? It was his unwavering faith in Sakura's love and his own love that told him everything would be okay. The correct answer might've been to take out Sakura here, but it wasn't the right one for Aisaku.]

Even if you're acting freaky right now and even if you've created those guys... I still love you! I'm here to accept you, no matter what! I can't let you control those monsters to hurt people, but I'm not gonna abandon you either.

[She's never acted out like this before. Sakura usually was demure and kind, so this was the first time that he's seen her so cold and angry. It felt like this was their first fight ever since he started dating her. If he can't love her at her worst, then how could he love her whenever she was at her best?]
