RABBIT DOUBT PSL [chapter 2] ( closed )

[ You've managed to escape. You've even managed to get out completely unscathed, regardless of the fact that Rei has completely disappeared. The cops did arrive on the scene soon after, thanks to a certain someone, especially considering the fact that they had no idea where they were, or how to leave. But Rei gave her word, so be grateful.

Mitsuki's probably on her way to jail now for her crimes, but if Phoenix manages to ask the police for any trace of Rei Hazama, he'll simply get the answer of: "Rei Hazama never existed in that place."

So all's good in the world for now at least, regardless of the oncoming danger that may occur by the time he gets back to the office. ]

[ There sure is one rather surprised spirit medium in the office when Phoenix arrives home -- it's rather late, and she was rather surprised altogether. Of course, the police had called her to keep her aware of the basic situation, even if she didn't know the exact details. ]

Nick!

PART 2: COSMOS SPACE CENTER

[There could have been any number of places where a man of the law had been arrested. He'd been involved in many of those cases himself. Gourd Lake, pretty much any place Maggey Byrde had been arrested...

The answer came in the form of a newspaper: Simon Blackquill, a prosecutor who had been at the Cosmos Space Center, had been arrested for the murder of a woman named Metis Cykes, who had been his teacher in psychology.]

[Psychology... If anything could have the potential to break through Rei's abilities, it's someone with a mastery of psychology. Was she responsible for this? As much as I want to defend Mr. Blackquill knowing this, I can't risk the possibility she has things stacked in her favor. Maybe if I go to the Space Center, I can get a better sense of what she's after.]

[Which, of course, is where he goes. Currently, he's in the visitor's center.]

[...and feeling like a huge chump. What exactly am I supposed to do in this case? Say "Hi, I'm Phoenix Wright, and I think a crazy washout celebrity teenager is plotting to destroy the world via something in this Space Center?" Talk about a quick trip to the looney bin. Ugh... where am I even supposed to go from here?]
