Huh... There's a mistletoe right above you... T'is the season-- almost. And it looks like you got stuck right under that mistletoe with someone else. And you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

[Allen doesn't want to let go of her. He takes his hand from her shoulder and sweeps it through where the barrier had been. They're free.

He smiles at her and taps his cheek as he says.] Feel free to hit me if you'd like. I deserve it.

[ Her fingers clench slightly by her sides before she raises one hand, brings it towards his forehead and flicks him right then and there. ]

[It's a bit sad that he doesn't even flinch. Maybe he knows too many violent people. Allen's sheepish smile hasn't lessened one bit. He slowly lets go of her with obvious reluctance.]

You're right. Sorry. [He glances up at the window noticing the snow falling outside and tucks a lock of hair behind her ear.] If we want to avoid getting snowed in, we should hurry up.

Ah. But. If you want I'll answer something about me as an apology. [He hesitates with the offer, unsure what she might ask. Last time had been in a word, awkward.]

[His face heats up without checking in with his brain. Allen stutters, leaning back a bit as he tried to control how red his face is getting.

[It's Inaba. He looks to the side with a cough and ducks his head, the flush just traveling right up his ears too.]

[ When he asks why she would ask him that sort of question, she can't help but almost freeze up, but now that his face is red, she can't help but blush hard to match. And then he says it.

The words that she didn't think he would ever say, and that causes her to fluster, just a little. ]

Huh? Ah... um. Does that mean you'd be okay with kissing me again?

Y-yeah. Do you...want me too? [Allen feverishly hopes his heart really isn't about to burst. It's beating so fast he's really concerned about that. He lifts his left hand to cup the side of her face.

Inaba tends to confuse him on a regular basis. Just when he thinks he has it all figured out, she sends him sliding like they're both on ice. But her will is strong and she never backs down where it matters. There's something very attractive about how she gives just as good as she gets, verbally or otherwise.

He smiles at her, brushing his thumb over her lips.] I'd like it a lot.

[ Caught off off guard when he puts his hand on her cheek, causing her heart to lump heavily in her chest, causing her breath to hitch, her cheeks flaring up. ]

Okay. [The connection of his lips to hers happens before he realizes it, his other hand coming up to the other side of her face. It feels like something snapped inside and he can't figure out what it is. He wants to protect her, to keep her safe from all that his life entails. It hasn't reached this small little corner yet but one day it will.

[ The moment he says "okay" like that is the same moment when her heart tempts to leap out, as if telling her that maybe she should outright say it. But by now it should already be obvious, shouldn't it? If she's asking for it so greedily like this, then he should have her all figured out by now.
