We're halfway through the year! And basically, that means that it's time for yet another call me out post, fresh from the confines of sweet, sweet HTML. Basically, you want to play with me? Sweet, then climb on board the roleplaying train with me for any reason you'd like.
I love shipping a lot as I'm literally shipping trash, mind you— but it doesn't have to go that way in the slightest bit!
As for what I'm interested in: I'm down for most things. Alternate universes, game CRAUs, memloss, smut, what have you. Although for smut, please ask me first and content warn in your top level's header!
Nevertheless, it's also a chance to play with some of my new or rarer characters, too. So let's get started, shall we? Here's your character selection for today:

If you want someone that isn't on this list, check out my muselist! I can't guarantee anything, however.
And if you're stuck on a prompt, please do not hesitate to ask me for one, or check out these cool prompt ideas:
If you have any questions or concerns, just PM me via Dreamwidth, my plurk (
endlesseight) or Discord (Len#0139)!

[ Her voice is immediately cold as she answers that rather rude statement, emerald green eyes giving him a scrutinizing look, almost judgmental. Even if a majority of her focus would be on magic, that isn't to say that she didn't study other subjects.
Languages, thankfully, were one of her strong suits; after all, the Clock Tower was in England, and if she had it her way, she'd get in after she graduated. Nevertheless, she'll follow behind Battler slowly with as much grace as a member of the Tohsaka family can provide before they finally reach Battler's bedroom.
She doesn't take a seat just yet, however, as eyes glance around the room to look at what's here. But when he grabs the book, she can't help but finally give him a curious look. ]
I don't really care what you call me, really.
[ At least she's honest? Although she doesn't mind the polite airs he was giving, even if there's just something about it that annoys her. ]
But to answer your question, isn't it obvious? You have a reputation, and not a good one. There's been stories around the campus where you made inappropriate jokes that make people uncomfortable. I"m not going to stop you if you don't do something stupid.
[ She takes a breath in... and then out, sighing. ]
That's irrelevant to the project, though. Since you took that book out... I guess the topic we should do is mysteries, right?
no subject
[Battler snaps the book closed and then tosses it to Rin. He gives her a pointed look.]
Has anyone ever complained about me doing it to them more than once? Or has anyone complained about me actually groping them? In fact, before you come up to me and smack me for even talking to them, have I ever seemed anything but polite?
[He sounds a little angry at this.]
The lechery is just a game, Rin, and if you watched me you'd know it. Its a way to break the ice, and as long as both parties are comfortable with it, flirting is extremely fun. Not that I'd expect you to understand that, though. You're probably so used to having your pick of guys at school that you don't even need to flirt anymore.
[After that, though, he'll calm down and nod.]
Mysteries are good. We can do Christie, Stout...if you'd prefer Spy stuff we can do Fleming. They're very different from those British movies, after all.
no subject
[ Usually Rin can keep her wits about her and not simply snap at someone, but today is not one of those days, apparently. But when he insinuates that apparently she has her 'pick of guys', that causes her to huff in a direction away from him, arms folded over her chest. ]
Haven't you heard of societal norms and what's appropriate to do in a school setting? You can get into a lot of trouble.
[ Is that a semblance of concern in her voice? Maybe, but Rin sure isn't going to admit that. But business. She can do that. ]
How about this, then: we write an argument talking about the pros and cons on two mystery authors: Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
no subject
[He isn't a monster, after all. Just a lech.]
Hey Rin, can I ask you a question? Like, complete honesty here. I'll even reciprocate.
[Battler the Detective is actually rearing his head. Instead of sly glances to her stockings or chest, Battler is now laser focused on her eyes. Not that he minded, really. He could get lost in her eyes, given the chance.
When she mentions the assignment again, this is broken, however.]
That could be interesting. Doyle actually presupposed a lot of modern forensics in his works.
no subject
Her eyes do gaze away from him as she hums a little thoughtfully, surprised that he'd even ask. ]
What is it? Just because you ask doesn't mean that I'll answer, depending on the question.
[ She'll decide how she'll answer when he gets his question out. ]
But, mm... I suppose we can do that. We can compare the setups of the mysteries and end it by leaving an open ended question to see which author the audience prefers better based on the arguments of both sides.
no subject
Are you a little jealous that I've never tried to hit on you like I hit on the other girls?
[He never had, either. Not that he wouldn't want to, but...well, in his mind, she was special, and if he were to actually flirt with her, it would be...well, special as well.
But back to the books.]
For Cristie, I think we should definitely do the Mousetrap as something that we examine. The Detective as an unreliable narrator is an interesting concept as a storytelling device, one that Doyle never used.
no subject
[ There's a bit of a baffled look in Rin's eyes, something akin to surprise that he would even ask that. ]
W— Why would I be jealous of that?!
[ Rin huffs slightly with her arms folded over her chest, realizing that she acted a little out of line. This isn't important. ]
Hmm, yeah, we can definitely talk about the narrators in the stories. Since in Holmes it's Watson, so we can compare and contrast them.
no subject
Eh, it may just be me misreading things, but you sometimes seem a bit...I don't know...upset that I'm not paying you as much attention. I mean, its not like I'm attracted to any of those other girls, not really. A nice face and body are fine now, but I want...well, I want someone who can challenge me.
[As he says those last words, he locks eyes with Rin again, or at least attempts to.]
Her mind is the most important thing, wouldn't you agree?
[He waves a hand, breaking eye contact.]
Eh, whatever. Anyway, deal still stands, you can ask me anything you want.
[And now, back to the books.]
If we wanted to go even farther, if we added Nero Wolfe into the mix, with his sidekick narrator, it could be interesting as well. The difference of an outsider's view to another detective's view.
no subject
[ Rin seems to be wearing a rather mischievous grin that plays across her lips, but there's something about it that seems almost angry, just a little bit. ]
By the way, that isn't my question. But I do agree. A person's mind is the most important thing.
[ She does, however, hum a little inquisitively as her gaze runs serious, eyes narrowed a little bit. ]
We don't want to go too far and make the report too complex. If we're comparing things, it's a lot simpler to compare two objects than it is to compare three. Besides, simplicity is a lot more efficient.
no subject
I figure you might be upset because I'd never had the courage to ask the one girl...well, woman that I know that can actually challenge me. Rin, why haven't we dated? I mean, we argue all the time, but...well, it never feels like there's actual heat behind the arguments. We can get passionate, sure, but I'm never really angry. Its just kind of fun.
[The way he says it is fairly casual, though he looks pretty worried. There aren't a lot of good options for how this might play out. I mean, there's one REALLY GREAT option, but the others are pretty grim.
He does go through to find a copy of Hound of the Baskervilles, though. They do still have a report to work on.]
no subject
[ She listens to Battler rather carefully, but when he reaches the part where he asks "why haven't we dated" she almost freezes up, her cheeks tinging a rather bright pink in fluster as she tries to deflect. ]
It's because you've never asked, you... you idiot!
no subject
[He stands up and walks over to her.]
You...you’d actually go out with me? But...why me? You’re the most beautiful girl in our class, top marks all the way. I wasn’t kidding that you could actually have any guy in the school...why the hell would you even begin to be interested in me?
no subject
[ That isn't answering any of the other questions, however. ]
no subject
Well, maybe its this attitude that kept me from asking you in the first place. I swear, Rin, if this is how you are with everyone, I'd be surprised if you didn't end up alone. I mean, I can't be the only guy out there who's been too scared to come up to you and say, 'Tohsaka Rin, I've loved you since the first time I met you, and want to go out with you'.
[He makes gestures with his arms at that last statement, then shuts the hell up, a horrified look on his face.]
no subject
[ She's honestly going to angrily point at Battler, a little shakily. ]
People shouldn't be cowards, anyway -- and it's not as if I haven't been asked out before.
[ It's true. Although she did reject all of them for various reasons. But then she gives him a rather cold look that's unlike her fluster, almost as if the Rin from before was just an illusion. ]
I'll be fine if I end up alone. It's better that way, anyway.
[ Cold traces across her words like ice to the point where it's almost scary. But then her lips curve into something a little more terrifying in contrast to the horror in his face. ]
But are you telling the truth, Ushiromiya Battler-kun? About what you just said...?
no subject
[He's still angry, though there is a small smile on his face as he's talking.
He pauses for a moment when she talks about staying alone, a lot of the heat vanishing from his face.]
Well...I didn't mean it that way. Everyone deserves to be happy, Rin.
[And now, back to the heat of the matter. His look of horror turns into him looking away from her.]
S-So what if it is, Rin.
[He looks back at her, determination on his face.]
So what if the only thing I've really been thinking about since we started arguing is how much I want pull you close to me and kiss you.
[He steps closer to her, ignoring the terrifying smile on her face.]
So what? So what if I want to just take those stockings of yours and...hell, I don't know, let you tie me up with them and have your way with me, or vice versa. So what?
no subject
[ It certainly isn't hers, or at least, that's what she wants to think, anyway. Even though she spots that small smile on his face, it's definitely one that makes Rin herself a little more irritated to the point where one could see a vein nearly popping out. ]
And just because I said I could handle being alone, that it's better that way-- it doesn't mean that I'll be unhappy!
[ She's already accepted it, as a magus. ]
But if you want to do that, then... why haven't you done it yet, huh?! Are are you not man enough to do what you say?
no subject
[He leaves out all the times when he has just said 'Hey Rin, your breasts look great today' or 'Good lord, how DO those stocking stay up like that?' It doesn't help his argument.]
I dunno. Being alone...just sounds terrible. My Grandfather has been alone for years now, since Grandmother passed away, and he's just...well, lets not go there. He thinks he's resurrecting old school magic in his study.
[Crazy old man. He's not looking forward to the family meeting in a couple weeks.
It was her comment about being a man that finally got him to snap a bit. When she asks why he hasn't just done what he says, he just leans forward and does.
It starts out rough, like he's just trying to get the deed done. Lips to lips, contact, nothing else. But after a second, Battler leans into it, and it softens slightly, the softening does not change the intensity of it. This is a kiss born of years of frustration, anger, love, and teenage hormones. A kiss meant to finally show Tohsaka Rin how Ushiromiya Battler felt for her.
And then he breaks off the kiss, his face still close to hers and looking at those blue eyes.]
Now who's not man enough?
no subject
[ To be honest, all Rin can do is listen. She'd argue him on the point where being alone isn't as terrible as it seems, given that she's lived her life on her own for years after her father passed. But what makes her completely dumbstruck is when he suddenly kisses her, causing her cheeks to heat up, her breath hot when his lips leave her.
Ah, that's strange... why is she already craving for more? ]
Stupid...
no subject
I may be stupid, but I’m honest with how I feel, at least.
[He’ll sit down on the bed and motion for Rin to sit down with him, either on his lap or on the bed next to him, its up to her.]
I can’t even consider being with anyone else.
no subject
Are you saying that I'm not honest, Ushiromiya-kun?
[ But it's only when she finishes those words that she finally sighs, hopping onto the bed, relaxed as she crosses a leg over the other. ]
no subject
I'm saying that you're not as honest as you could be, Tohsaka-san. I think that if we'd both set aside our pride...well, I might have been able to kiss you sooner.
[He will slide closer to her, should she allow it and put an arm around her waist, his hand resting on her skirt, his finger absently stroking the fabric.]
I really do love you, Rin. This is me putting everything out there. I've never felt as happy as I just did kissing you.
no subject
[ And that's Rin being brutally honest as she folds her arms over her chest, looking away from him but it's not in the same defiant manner as before. Her cheeks are even a little bright red, too but she doesn't seem to stop him from touching her. ]
Besides. You barely know anything about me.
no subject
[He stops stroking her leg and frowns.]
They wanted to confirm that I was Endless Nine, and then train me as a magus hunter. My mother, in one of her last moments, made my father promise not to let them take me.
no subject
Someone who knows about magi and isn't one is someone she can't be with.
She knows the rules, even though she doesn't like them. ]
You shouldn't have said anything.
