original characters:

"question" - the younger sibling who lived in a unnamed kingdom. she was the younger sister of the princess, who was beautiful and kind, and to "question", formerly named jeanne, she was perfect. used to consider herself ugly and wanted to be noticed, so she sold her soul to a demon who granted her wish to be beautiful. in return, she became the evil vessel and later killed her parents and disappeared, causing her older sister to be blamed for the killing.
alice / "alyssa" - the older sibling who lived in an unnamed kingdom. a young girl who was happy and rather carefree and cared for everything. but then she lost everything on that one day when her younger sister betrayed her. as punishment, the four mages of the kingdom sent her on a journey through countless worlds, never to die, but never to stay in one world forever, simply appearing and disappearing endlessly. she has the ability to slide through worlds rather awkwardly, though - which leads to somewhat perverted results.
melissa "mucchi" crown - the youngest of three children, a cow girl who turned into the shape of a human by having her owner's wish granted. somewhat of a sly girl and is also the lead singer for a band which she has with her older, but dense, brother, ross. she's the one who understands life as a human the most, since all her memories are as a human. has cow ears that can reveal her identity -- if shown to a human and they are completely convinced that she is a cow, she will turn back within 72 hours.
moe - an only child in a new world called earth 2; a planet that all humans moved to after the original earth was destroyed in chaos. she currently lives in eden, a "facility" that was created for people like moe, basically people who had "unneeded emotions", as deemed by the four sages (aka the original people from earth) that could cause chaose to happen and a repeat of what happened on the original earth. in eden, people are sent to die at the age of 13 -- and before being rescued by an elite force who was rebelling against this system, she was going to die without knowing it. moe is a naive girl who doesn't know much.
mikoto - a glitch in the system. someone who wasn't supposed to exist in reality, but suddenly became real for reasons unknown. knows that she's not supposed to exist and wishes to disappear.
kasumi kitohara - a young teenage girl - currently 17 - who, at the young age of 12, single-handedly saved the world from a ten year old genius who was trying to take over it. a huge gaming nerd.

[That sure was a sudden chill, and the outfit she'd carefully chosen for the day is just. Gone.]

[Fortunately, they're both girls, but it's still an automatic reflex to try and cover herself a little. And panic, just a little.]

I don't know, it's not my fault that nobody told me that there was a blackout.

[ And by blackout, she doesn't mean here. Though Alex's voice is rather tense and irritated to the point where she wants to smack something or someone - not Rise, of course, she never hit girls unless they were the problem (for the most part, anyway) and this was not up her alley.

[ Getting her memories back along with returning back home was simply a bonus. Of course, she had to do this soon, before things got worse. Although Shinji had been saved, that didn't mean that he wouldn't try anything.

And Shinji wasn't even the pinnacle of her distress now at this point. There were people that were worse than him, that could make things bad for Sakura.

She actually cared.

No matter how much she said she didn't, that was just her way with dealing with it. If she didn't say those words, then she'd become a hindrance to herself as a magus.

But now that she knew, she couldn't just stand by. There wasn't any school today, so she had to Seek ~~a way out!~~ Sakura out and find out where she was at the current moment. She wasn't sure if she was at Emiya-kun's -- no, Shirou's -- place, or if she was back in the Matou mansion. The Matou mansion was closer, and it would be easier to deal with.

Which is why she's right here, at their estate, ready to pick the lock if necessary.

She's going to save you, Sakura. ]

[ It'd be a massive understatement to say that Sakura was disappointed to hear that Shirou would be taking off for Europe next year. With Rin. Leaving her alone. While she wanted to tell herself to start thinking of alternate plans, of different ways of being able to get the everliving fuck out of this house, she wasn't. It was just spring. She wanted to hold the happiness that seeing Shirou gave her, to not think about it eventually disappearing. How far back down the hole would she slide?

Well. It did help that Shinji was actually being kind to her. That is to say, not the sort of kindness one would expect upon hearing the word, but choosing to not insult her, or physically harm her. It almost felt too good to be true.

These are the things she's thinking of as she walks home from the grocery store, bags bundled in her arms. She doesn't see Rin at first as she fumbles with retrieving her house key from her pocket, but when she does, she almost drops the bags. ]

T-Tohsaka-senpai...?

Oh, you're finally back, Sakura.

[ Her voice sounds rather calm as she says those words, crossing her arms over her chest at the gate. It looks like she doesn't have to burst her way inside after all. Although she's certain that Sakura's plenty surprised that she actually came --

But she's not here for business, she's here for other, more important reasons. ]

[ She honestly has no clue what to say, here. For a moment, she kind of stands there, sputtering awkwardly. ]

I...um. [ She wants to say no. She wants to just go back in inside and put away the groceries and then head to Shirou's house for the rest of the evening. ] Of course. Ah...once I put these away, we could go to the park...

[ There's an even smile on Rin's lips, but it's only there momentarily before it forms a rather stern, grim frown. ]

I'll wait for you out here while you put the groceries away. But don't take too long.

[ she gives a short bow without saying anything, excusing herself into the house for a moment.

If there's anything Sakura is good at, it's working under pressure. Surely she'd be expected to put all of the groceries away after buying them, so she works as quickly as she can (oh, was that Shinji staring at her quizzically from the dining room? why was he being so non-confrontational anyway?). Her timing is magnificent, actually. It barely seems like she's been inside for four minutes before she comes bustling back out, not a hair out of place. ]

I think that's everything...

That was fast.

[ She's pretty surprised herself by how quickly Sakura went in and out of the house, but at the same time, she's also quite relieved that things were sorted out quickly. Especially considering... Shinji.

If he tried anything, he'd probably get beaten up, but he... didn't do anything. Was it because he knew that she was here? He must have looked outside the curtains, after all. ]

You said you wanted to talk at the park, right?

Er, well, it wouldn't be right to keep you waiting.
