literally hito random all over again ( closed )
[When Inaba wakes up in an unfamiliar room with an unfamiliar body, there's only one thing to think:

She's not sure whether Heartseed's behind this or not, but there's something that's for certain. This isn't her body, nor one of the members of the StuCS, either. After all, they didn't have such a huge rack. With a groan, she manages to get herself onto her feet, desperately looking for a phone. At the very least, this Freaky Friday situation was not to get out of hand without first contacting the person who's currently residing in her own body.
She has the most important priorities.

[Literally the only person she'd ever call aniki, since, well, that's what the word meant.]
Okay. I'll call you when I get there, so stay put.
[She'll sigh as she hangs up, scavenging through the closet. There's a lot of clothes in here, but she won't question the whole... men's clothes thing. She's been through stranger, and if Natsuru wants to have those sorts of things in her closet, then sure.
She'll pick something in the white and pink area - thankfully, Inaba has a good enough taste in fashion to put things on rather smoothly, though the hardest part is finding a comfortable bra.

But she'll be at her own house in approximately... 30 minutes, so she won't have to wait too long. And she'll call the phone and hope she answers.]

She's distracted by her own thoughts for a moment, and by the time she thinks to respond, she hears the faint click of the phone disconnecting. So she just... waits, and looks around the room. Sure is huge... it's more like a living room than a bedroom! This girl must come from a really rich family! (Or, well... she hasn't seen the rest of the house, so maybe it is a living room with a bed? How would she know?)
While pacing through and exploring the room, she catches a glimpse of her reflection in a window. Short, dark hair... brown eyes... really cute... this is the girl she was talking to?! Somehow, she expected someone more... rough-looking...
The phone ringing again startles her, making her jump and dash back to where she'd left it. ... The number is her own, so it must be her!]
Himeko-san? Did you make it?

I'd appreciate it if you didn't refer to me by first name. And yes, I'm here, so open the gate. You just have to go down the stairs and straight.
[Of course, she could probably just open the gate herself if she put her arm around... but she was being polite. Her brother should have left the house by now and gone off to possibly hit on some girls as was the usual for him.
As she waited rather patiently, she crossed her arms, thinking about the situation a bit. There was only one person, or rather thing who could possibly do this. But she didn't want to draw to any conclusions. Heartseed didn't seem the type to force a bodyswap twice - since she's gone through this on multiple occassions - especially with someone that she didn't exactly know very well.]

[She sounds so deflated. Of course, she doesn't really know the reason, so she just assumes Inaba doesn't want some strange person in her body speaking so familiarly.
Anyway, she should probably go open the gate for her! She stays on the phone the whole way, just in case she gets lost. (Yes, this is an actual thing she thinks might happen in a house like this.) But she manages to find her way alright, and steps up to open the gate...
... And she just stands there, stunned, as she does so. She'd been expecting to see her own body, of course, so some part of her instinctively processed that as expecting to see someone her own height. Instead, she's dwarfed by how ridiculously tall her own body is, for a (Japanese) girl. Just add that to the growing list of awkward things about this whole situation!]
Ah... h-hello...
[Don't mind her standing there gaping, Inaba. She'll get over it in a second.]
no subject
Yo.
[She brought her hand up to wave. Thankfully it seemed that her aniki wasn't at home, which caused her to heave a sigh of relief. If he was here, there would be all sorts of problems. Including the problem of being hit on.
Gross.]
Anyway, let's talk upstairs, in my room. That way I can explain the situation. I'll probably need to borrow my phone so I can text the others that plans are going to be cancelled for today...
no subject
Ah... right! Sorry...
[Smiling, she holds out the phone she'd carried all the way down, as she matches pace with the now-taller girl to head back to her room. At least there's no one around to confuse the two of them... Natsuru's not sure how she'd handle being mistaken for this Inaba girl, especially right in front of her!]
You said you're used to this... it's happened to you before?
no subject
[She takes the phone and follows her upstairs idly, only paying half attention as she texts her friends about the situation. She has to make sure they're caught up - especially since she did tell them that they were going to hang out today. Finally done with that, she lets out a sigh, opening the door to her room before sitting down on the bed with a perfect posture, crossing her arms.]
Yeah... When I say that I'm "used to this", it's more that I've gone through it several times before.
[There's a clear tenseness in Inaba's tone, sounding rather anxious as she bites down on her lower lip, uncertain.]
Although I'm certain that this is the same phenomenon, I"m not sure if that guy's the cause of it; but... it should wear off. I just don't know when. It was always completely random before.
no subject
It's a relief to hear that this sort of thing usually wears off, though the not knowing when makes her worry a little.]
But... how long does it usually last? What are we supposed to do until it wears off? We can't just pretend to be each other if we don't even know each other!
[That's far from her only concern. What about getting dressed, and bathing?! She's not sure she can do that sort of thing in another girl's body!]
no subject
[She's going by the last few times that she's swapped, since she remembers how long those lasted. It usually didn't last the entire day; the longest she's been in a swap is a few hours at best.]
We'll have to try, regardless. It looks like we'll have to talk about each other during in the meantime; if aniki comes back though, we'll have to leave as discreetly as possible without him seeing me. There's not much you need to do to act like me in front of others, if you just keep your voice low, use the proper pronouns and language, you should be fine.
People already consider me as strange from the last time this happened, so it's not like my reputation's going to dive severely. Plus, my closest friends already know about the situation, so they shouldn't be a problem handing. I just need to get to know you better if I wanted to act like you. I'm pretty sure I can pull it off.

[Less than a day is not as bad as her mind was starting to build it up to be. Even though she'd probably still have to worry about things like getting dressed.]
Um... so I should talk like this around other people?
[And she attempts to imitate Inaba's way of speaking. Poorly. It's hard to get an accurate grasp when all they have to go by is how each of them speaks with the other's voice. So she ends up sounding like a girl trying too hard to sound like a boy (but with the right pronouns, at least).
She immediately switches back to her "normal" voice to add one more thing.]
I'm not really sure what to say about myself, though. I'm not that interesting.
no subject
[She fiddles with her phone a little before passing it over to Natsuru. It seems that she's showing her several sound files.]
Listen to these. They're mostly audio journal recordings, but they should help you out. Just don't play the one that says "delete" on it. ... And don't delete it, either. I'll kill you if you do either.
[There's a massive amount of cruelty in her tone, though.]
Well, just talk about your hobbies or whatever you normally do. I don't really care.
no subject
[Inaba why do you keep threatening to kill her?! What kind of psycho did she end up switching with?!]
Um... well, I'm really just an average student.
["I don't really stand out much." Is what she wants to say. But knowing how things have changed, she should... probably prepare Inaba for that.]
I'm kind of popular in school, I guess. I'm not really sure why. There's a lot of rumors that get spread around, but none of them are true!
[She seems really, really emphatic about that. Rumors that she plays with the hearts of innocent girls... they're the ones who keep fawning all over her! She didn't ask for any of it!]
Oh... I'm not a member of any clubs, but I know the Student Council President and the head of the Library Committee, so I help them out sometimes. And I work part-time in a maid cafe with one of them, too.
That's pretty much it...
[Her life sounds so dull and uninteresting, but she's always getting roped into something. It's a lot more hectic than one might think.]
What about you?
no subject
Popular in school... I guess I can see why. [But then there's that cheeky smile. Natsuru, you shouldn't have said that.] What kind of rumors, by the way?
[She gives off a rather ominous grin as she speaks, laughing inwardly, even with her tone staying rather neutral.]
I've dressed up as a maid before, but I've never worked at one before. I should still have my costume in the closet...
Anyway, there's not really much you need to know about me. I'm the vice president of the Student Cultural Society - StuCS - for short, and what our club basically does is write a school newspaper every month. Our deadline's on the 25th of each month, though convincing Gotou to extend it is fine if I manage to come up with a viable excuse. Which isn't too difficult. I'm also pretty decent with computers; my desktop's custom made by yours truly, and I'm able to do macro programming with ease.
I don't do any part time jobs, since I'm usually with the others for long periods of time, but I do get an allowance from my parents. I don't think there's anything else you need to know about me, unless you really want to ask.
no subject
Um... it should be okay if we're only going to be like this for less than a day! I'm not really used to having family around, though. And I hope no one asks about computers...
[She's capable, but in the same way as most people their age is these days. Nothing special. And she's not sure she can act like Inaba in front of her parents and brother, if that ever comes up! Hopefully it doesn't.
There is one more thing that sticks in her head, too...]
... What do you mean 'you can see why'?
[She's curious, okay? Note that she completely dodged the question about rumors, though.]
no subject
[Inaba lets out a rather annoyed groan, shifting her weight on her seat as she stared down the other girl.]
You have a large chest and nice sin. Plus, you're tall as well. Anyway, nobody usually asks for any computer information, and if someone does, just relay it over to me.
no subject
[Wow, Inaba, between that stare and the blunt statement, Natsuru seems to be shrinking ever-so-slightly further away. Unconsciously, she finds her eyes drawn to Inaba's chest (actually her own), and then glancing down at her own (actually Inaba's), before blushing and turning away.]
I... thought smaller girls were supposed to be cuter...
[She means their height, not their chest size, and she doesn't even realize how it sounds in context.]

no subject
[Wow, her face is burning red now.]
I just... thought you'd be really popular, since you're cute and pretty and-
[No, that's just making the blushing worse. Finally, she takes a deep breath and manages to change the subject.]
Anyway, we're supposed to act like each other, right? What are we going to do as each other all day?!
no subject
[Inaba finds herself glancing away though; she finds it weird to see her own face blushing so deeply, even if she's actually done it before. But seeing it herself is just... embarrassing.]
Well, it's fine if you hang around my friends since they already know the situation and can back me up, but I'm not sure what you do.
