[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

Hazama...Rei. [That--no. No. That couldn't be it. No.] But I killed her! I... [She can see the person now...]

In the hospital but-- [She remembers how she found him. How she had called the hospital right away. How she had thought that it wouldn't come to this. That he'd be okay. He'd be alright. She remembers all that. She then remembers something else.

The doctors telling her that they had arrived too late. They couldn't help him. She falls to her knees, the axe is still in her hands.]

[He walks over to Mitsuki. Calmly, he puts his hand on his shoulder.]

Mitsuki... I'm sorry. I really am...

[dolosa]

Was there anything else you wanted to ask, or was that it?

[ She's still playing this up in her childish act, if only because it amuses her. ]

[bystandering]

...you lied to me, didn't you?

[She's not even looking up.]

[dolosa]

You just never asked about the truth, Mitsuki. So I decided not to tell you.

[bystandering]

[Was it possible that those she had hurt were innocent? Yu... did it really matter if he had lied? It had been close to her birthday, after all. People made lies around those times frequently. Yu wasn't that good with gifts; Kei-chan was Mitsuki's best friend. It would make perfect sense that he'd ask her for advice.

If Mitsuki had insisted that she had to speak with him--maybe he would have canceled his plans. Then this entire thing would have been avoided. Which is opposite to what Rei would have wanted.

It made her stomach sick.] Then Yu-kun and Kei-chan weren't...

[She slumps forward even more.]

[Yu... the "liar" from the beginning of this whole mess!]

You... knew Yu, didn't you Mitsuki? Personally.

[dolosa]

She did. And then she killed him.

[bystandering]

He and Kei-chan were my closest friends... I saw them together but it was only a few days before my birthday. Even if he lied--he's really bad at gifts. Maybe--oh god...

[She knows she killed him. At the time she thought it had been justified. Though, now, remembering what Yu had said to her during the Rabbit Doubt game. How he had stayed in her hospital room even though it was dangerous to him.

She can't keep herself from crying now.]

There are only two crimes I cannot forgive in this world: Poisoning, and betrayal. Rei... you may not have pulled the trigger, but this blood is still on your hands. You betrayed me, you've made others betray their closest friends. For that... I can never forgive you. Ever.

[dolosa]

[ Her fingers curl into tight fists, but it's only momentary as she loosens it up. She doesn't care. She doesn't care. ]

...

And? It doesn't change anything in the slightest. Just because you have Mitsuki now doesn't mean anything. You won't be able to stop me. This game is one that lasts forever. Anyway, I promised a way out in exchange for that, didn't I?

[ Steps walk closer to the door as she gives them a cold stare. bending over as she lifts her skirt, taking off the barcode sticker off her thigh as she scans it onto the machine, the door unlocking with a click. ]

And now you can leave. If you try to bring me along with you, I won't hesitate to use my last resort. [ Holding up her phone with a grin, her finger right on the button to activate whatever her plan is. ]

[bystandering]

[She's really not even paying attention now. There's only one thing, beyond the grief, that she's thinking. Why would she give up on her so easily? Then it hits her. Maya Fey. Rei's just simply moving on to a new target.

...She'll talk to Phoenix later on that point, though.]

[Phoenix stares at Rei for a bit before helping Mitsuki up. He knows, sooner or later, she'll have to account for what she did. Maybe they'll allow leniency. He'd certainly argue for her on that account.

As he moves to leave, though, he stops.]

Wolves and sheep. Leave a sheep with a wolf, and the wolf will eat the sheep. Sort of sounds like it calls for a farmer, doesn't it?
