That said, the first stomp gets a loud yelp of pain, an instinctive urge to try to turn away from the source of pain. But she quickly grits her teeth as she does her best to try to not move, to not scream. See how obedient and strong and reliable she is as a piece? She's the detective, surely she can endure this pain and humiliation...!]
Ggghh...gggaaahhh!
[Even Erika has her limits though, so when the heels really start digging in, trying to tear out her guts, that's when she starts screaming a little more in pain, and apologizing.]
I--I'm sorry, I'm sorry, my master, please forgive me---eeeaaagghh!
no subject
She's slowly getting bored of just watching her get crushed under her heel.
And then she stops, lifting her heel as she purses her lips, her empty eyes suddenly full of emotion. Which is never a good sign when she starts laughing sadistically, tossing the heeled boots back to the Fragment where they belonged. ]
Ahahaha, you think that I'm just going to let you go that easily, with such flimsy words? [ Because it's not an apology that she actually wants from Erika. If that's what Erika thought, she's sorely mistaken. ]
no subject
However, she might still be breathing at the moment, but it's never a good sign when Bernkastel laughs like that, not when she's on the receiving end of it. Still, perhaps against better judgement, she opens her mouth to speak.]
I...I assure you, my words are anything but flimsy. [No matter how humiliating they are. But apparently apologies weren't getting her anywhere.] I'll do...whatever it takes to appease you, so...
[Use her however you wish, Bernkastel, even if that involves stomping on her.]
no subject
[ What a piece of shit she's being as she snaps her fingers to make a pair of sewing scissors appear. ]
no subject
If...if that's what it would take to satisfy you.
[Nevermind the fact that she probably really would prefer not having that done to her, but she's pretty sure that she doesn't get a choice here.]
no subject
[ Which is literally her only requirement on everything ever. But no, she doesn't get a choice. ]
no subject
Assuming that Erika is allowed to move now, she begins to slowly sit up, and holds out a hand to accept the scissors that Bernkastel summoned. Despite her attempts at a poker face at the moment, it's easy to see from the way her teeth grits and her outstretched hand shakes a little that she's not actually looking forward to doing this.]

So for the longest moment, Erika is just sitting there looking at the scissors in hand, before looking down at herself, as if debating on where to start...and then she looks back up.]
My master, you don't have any preferences for where I should start with this, do you? [She's stalling, it's obvious that she is, but the question is asked all the same. What would be the most entertaining for Bernkastel, to see Erika try to cut herself open from top to bottom, bottom to top? Make it a surprise?]
no subject
[ Although Bernkastel can clearly tell that she's stalling, she won't punish Erika for it; it's clear that her piece, her doll, her toy is trying her best to please its master. And if it writhes in agony from its master's orders, then all the better. ]
no subject
But she doesn't do much yet, simply keeping the scissors hovering for a second, before inching them slowly closer to herself. Maybe she's waiting for something--a miracle, perhaps, that would save her from having to do such a thing?
...Ha, who are we kidding. The witch of miracles is watching with a bag of popcorn; she clearly expects us to put on a show.]
no subject
You're too slow. Do I have to do it for you?
no subject
N--no, you don't have to trouble yourself with that. I...
[There's a slight pause, before she allows one of those ugly smiles of hers to rise to her face--if it wasn't for the sweat on her brow, she might have appeared a little more confident, but still...]
I was just thinking for a moment about whether or not someone like me even had a heart to cut out and put on display, that's all. [A self-deprecating thought, as many would say, but it's a curious one too. What was the likelihood that if she cut herself open right here that there would be nothing there but a void where her heart should be? Or would it be a dark and twisted lump of meat trying to pass itself off as an imitation of a human heart?]
no subject
[She's talking about it in the most physical sense, of course. But the heart that was given to her was most definitely not a real human heart, just an imitation. One that looked and felt like a human's heart--
But it only belonged to a piece.
A piece didn't need a real heart.]
no subject
Oh, I see. Then perhaps I should thank you, my master, for granting me one so that I could become a proper piece for you. [Even if it isn't a real heart, and is just an imitation of one.]
no subject
[She says this as if it were an obvious answer and nothing to be thankful about. All pieces were given a 'heart' of sorts, after all. Without that, they would be soulless creatures, dolls.]
no subject
[...It's hard to say if this is still just a stalling tactic, or part of that perverse loyalty she has for Bernkastel.]
