[ To Hazama Rei, it felt as if it all happened in a blink of an eye, and it caused her to be slightly dizzy. Bringing her hand to her head, slender fingers ran through her plum colored hair as she took a quick glance around. Ah, it was an island, wasn't it..? She hadn't been told much about Hajime's world, but being stuck on an island only meant one thing.

Was this the place where he was stuck in, before he went home? She recalled being told about being stuck on an island, after all, on the first evening after they met. After the trial.

When she was still— No. Shaking it off, the small, petite girl decided that it would be for the best for her to not think about that right now. She did promise that she'd tell him anything he wanted to know - anything he needed to know - if he just simply asked. Lying was something that she hated, even now. Well, at least she wasn't on wheels this time around. There was no need for her to be to begin with; she hadn't needed one for a while now.

But, uh. This is new. She's not sure where to start, honestly. For now, she'll just wander aimlessly, calling out the familiar name. Rei hasn't forgotten it. She refused to, if only to keep the 'self' she was now. ]

Hajime..? [ He is here, right? There wasn't any mistakes when she was sent to this world, right? ]

Well... that's good, then.

[He's flushing a little too, at the soft press of her body so close to his. But he's got to be cool! Maybe it hadn't been long for her, but he still doesn't want to do anything to make her change her mind about him.]

...I still have to figure out how to tell my classmates how you got here. And, uh... how we met, too.

[He laughs a little awkwardly, squeezing her hand again.]

I'll figure it out, though, don't worry. I'm... sorry it's not like how I told you it would be, though. Here, I mean.

... Yeah. I don't know if I'd be able to handle it if I was away from you for a month.

[ She hitches a breath, laughing a little hollowly herself. ] You can always tell them the truth. And if they don't believe you, then I'll find a way to prove it to them.

But it's fine. If you want to visit my world, you can come along with me sometime. It's mostly safe. Or rather -- you'd be safe if you stay with me.

[That... makes him really happy, in a weird kind of way. It was hard without her, sure, but there was so much going on with the island that he didn't get as much time to lament her not being there. Not to mention he wouldn't have wanted her to go through all that. She can talk all she wants about being able to handle it, but that doesn't mean he wants her to have to.

He can't help but laugh a little quietly, and shake his head.] We'll see. Either way... I'm sure they'll like you. They're all kind of, [extremely,] weird, but... they're all good people. Really.

[And he just squeezes her hand again, trying to give her a confident smile.] Yeah. It can't be for a while yet, not until... we figure out a way to wake everyone up. But once that happens... I'll go anywhere you want to go, Rei.

I trust you.

[ She smiles, she knows that he wouldn't lie to her about that. There's no reason for him to, after all -- they're not in that horrible, horrible game anymore after all. ]

Well, I'll help out. I don't know how advanced the technology is here, but I've done a lot of research before for... you know. Or rather, I'm good at handling a lot of things. Maybe that's just me bragging a little, but I'd like to think I'm not that horrible.

[ She's not talking about morally. ] If we have to stay here though, I guess we'll be sleeping in the same room, Hajime.

[ Was this her plan all along??? ]

I'd really appreciate that! There's got to be a way to recover their data from the program, or else... there's no way we would have been able to see them, when we were approaching the final stage. I couldn't have seen Nanami, or Monomi... Usami, there's no way Usami would have been able to beat Enoshima if all data was completely erased.

[Yet another squeeze to her hand with yet another smile, though it disappears into a shocked 'o' of surprise as his cheeks flush pink.]

U-um! I mean, if... if you want to, but there's... there's extra rooms in the Future Foundation's Headquarters, that's where we're all staying. S-so, I mean, you don't have to, but you can if you want...

Well, when it comes to computers, nothing isn't ever truly deleted. People think that it is, but there's always some way to restore it. I'm no computer programmer, but I could always get in touch with one if I have to.

[ See, she's useful. Oh, but she sees that flush of his cheeks. It seems that she'll have the chance for payback as she leans in towards him, pressing her chest against his arm slightly with a slight quirk of her lips in a soft, yet somewhat mischievous grin. ]

So you're giving me permission to sleep on your bed, in your room with you, Hajime?

[Ah, no, she's leaning against him like that... all his attempts at being cool are starting to fly out the window, because he's really not used to this kind of thing at all. Especially not anyone -- Rei especially! -- being quite so forward.]

I-I-I! [Is it that she's just that warm against him, or his body just feels that hot?]

I wouldn't have said it if I didn't. [ She lifts her heels to get closer to where his ear is, sighing hotly against it. Whether she's doing this on purpose or not is a mystery, but there's evidently something about the way she says it that's probably alluring as her voice drops to a whisper, lips brushing against his ear.

Rei will even grab his tie to give her more leverage if she has to. ]

After all, I already promised Hajime that I'd let him see if he wanted to, right? I'm not planning on breaking that.

[ IS SHE EVEN SERIOUS, who knows... ]

[She's going to need that leverage, considering how tall he is and how shocked he really is. He shivers as her lips brush his ear, his hands dropping to lightly hold her waist as if he's not sure whether he should pull her in more closely, or try to push her away until they can get somewhere more private. Either way, his heart is pounding loudly in his ears as he swallows hard, flushing an even deeper red.]

I... I'd like that, [he manages finally in response, fingers pressingly lightly against her waist. Whether she's serious or not, he'd apparently deciding to believe her, turning his head just enough to brush his lips across her cheek, seeking her lips if she'll let him.]

[ When he answers, she can feel the rush going to her head; his words are unexpected for Rei and she thought that he would be too embarrassed to actually come up with a proper reply. But that seems to have backfired on her, not that she minds, really, as she doesn't dare escape his lips capturing her own in a chaste kiss.

But now that they have all the time in the world, she doesn't want to hold back, even as her heart pounds in her ears, causing her cheeks to turn rosy and she pressed forward into the kiss itself, deepening it as she places her own hands on top of his to reassure him that it's all okay.

They're here, together -- they can do whatever they want now that they've reunited, and she doesn't want this moment to end in the slightest. After all, this is the first time they've really kissed; they were dead before this one, but now they're alive, they're together. It's that reassurance that he's there that causes her to breathe hotly into his mouth as she lets out a needy groan, anxious for more. Her fingers slowly move away from his own as they rest on his waist to pull herself closer, to press her body against his. She wants to feel the warmth of life that she's missed, the closeness and affection that she hasn't had in years. ]

[There's only so many times she can tease him with that before he's going to actually want to at least peek a little...! His cheeks are still flushing an even darker red as she deepens the kiss, and when she presses against him, he immediately takes the chance to tug her as close as he can, wrapping his arms around her waist so she can't escape. Not that she likely wants to, if the way she's acting is any indication, but...

He shivers again at that groan, exhaling softly against her lips and brushing her nose with his for a moment, just long enough to take a breath before capturing her lips again. With one arm around her waist, it frees up his other hand to graze her cheek, running his thumb over her cheekbone to tilt her head up a little more. She's so much shorter that it makes it a little uncomfortable for him, at least, but kissing her is more than worth that minor discomfort.

...Of course, Hinata can't be allowed to have nice things, so of course, they're not going to remain alone for much longer.]

Oi, Hinata, what the fuck?!

[That's definitely not Hinata's voice. That's definitely someone speaking Kansai-ben.]

[ His lips are warm against her own, and she enjoys the kiss so much that she feels that she's drowning in the sensation, unable to think of anything besides him for that few moments, blushing hard when she feels his thumb on her cheek, her body trembling excitedly underneath his touch. But when she hears the unfamiliar voice, her violet eyes widen in what seems to be sheer surprise and she pulls herself away from his lips while deciding to clutch onto him, fingers latching onto his shirt awkwardly. ]

U-Um... [ This is awkward. She wants to shrink back because someone saw them and now she's embarrassed about it. Just let her bury her head into his chest and attempt to hide. It's not working of course, but she's definitely trying. HAJIME YOU GO TALK TO THE STRANGER!!

Or something. Maybe she'll introduce herself, but right now she's just really flustered, her heart pounding loudly in her chest from the intensity of the kiss he gave her. She feels like the self she pretended to be now, all meek and shy and it's strange. ]

[It's not a stranger! The dialect makes that much immediately obvious, Hinata breaking the kiss with a start and standing upright. Crap...! He messed up, he wasn't paying attention. And of course to add to his luck, it would be SHSL "You're In High School You Dirty Rotten Bastard" who'd found the two of them. Not... that they're exactly in high school any more.

Hinata kind of wishes he could hide like Rei apparently has decided to do, but this is his classmate...]

Uh... hey, Kuzuryuu. Um, this is... Hazama Rei. We should... probably get the others together, there's some things I've got to tell you guys. She'll be staying with us for... well, for a while.

[Come on Rei, this rough-sounding gangster is only a couple inches taller than you are and he's a total babyface. Let's go meet Hinata's classmates and hopefully he can do a good enough job explaining what happened on the other island...]

[ It's a stranger to her, at least for the time being. Also it's not fair that she's the tiniest one, she's still embarrassed that even she wasn't paying attention. She usually doesn't space out like that, considering the type of person she is. Regardless, she'll straighten herself up and just hide behind Hajime awkwardly because, uh... she's not sure she can actually act how she normally does.

Well, seems like it's time for an explanation, though before they get there, Rei manages to sigh, speaking in a low, awkward, hushed whisper. He'll probably recognize it as the tone she's used before the execution; it's almost as if she's reverted back to how she used to be, when she was in a wheelchair. ]

H-... Hajime, is it bad that he saw us? [ There's other things she wants to ask too, but this is the most important. Well, they were just kissing, so it should be okay... Maybe. ]

[Frankly, Hinata's more than a little nervous. He's been thinking about how to try to explain the island almost since he found himself back on this one, and no matter how he tries to put it.. zit always just sounds unbelievable. Completely absurd. But now, after everything, he can honestly say that,]

Y-yeah. I trust them, Rei, [he responds, matching her volume and just reaching to take her hand, giving it a squeeze and smiling in a way he hopes is reassuring.] They're all my friends, so... I'm sure they'll be your friends too, in time.

[Six hope fragments each, you can do it!!]

I can... actually have friends again?

[ There's some slight skepticism in her tone as she says those words, shyly, but with his hand in her own, that reassuring squeeze that tells her that there's nothing to worry about, well, it makes her grow some slightly confidence. ] Well, if you trust them, I will too. Though I have to admit, I'm a little worried.

[ She will try to get those hope fragments..! Try being the key word here. ]

But I should be okay. After all, [ Rei decides to latch onto him, using both of her hands to grab onto his own as she decides to lean against him affectionately, regardless of how embarrassing it is to be this close, ] you're my knight in shining armor that will protect me, right, Hajime?

I wouldn't go that far!

[Knight in shining armor, huh...? Sounds cool! Except he doesn't think that fits him, not at all. In the time he'd been in the simulation with these four, and the others, he'd learned what it's like to have friends who accept you because of anything... just like Rei had.

So he just squeezes her hand again with another smile.]

You don't have to pretend around them. I'll do the talking if you want, but... don't worry. You're part of the future I'm looking to create for myself too, you know.

[Kuzuryuu's probably rolling his eye at them.]

[ Poor Kuzuryuu, having to see all of this... Though her voice drops a touch, smiling in return. ]

And for that, I'm glad. Well, I don't mind pretending if it's entertaining [ for her ] and I don't mind having you explain, either. I'm not half bad at explaining myself, but I enjoy hearing your voice. Besides...

[ And just as if in cue, the low growling of her stomach can be heard, making her cheeks tinge a bright pink. ]

I haven't eaten yet, either.

No, really, don't.

[Opening with the fact that Rei was her own version of Junko Enoshima is a bad plan -- bringing that bit up at all is a really bad plan -- but being as honest as he can with them is important. There were enough lies and deceit on the island already, he doesn't want to add to it. Not with them.]

There's not too much in the way of variety here anymore... It's mostly the kind of stuff that lasts for a long time, like rice and other kinds of dry food. You can still find pretty much anything at the super market on the first island, though. We can take one of the boats over after this. There should be some clothes, too.

[Don't take all his clothes, Rei, they're all going to be baggy and boring and also he doesn't want anything to do with that dull black suit of Kamukura's.

But he is going to explain everything about ship trap to his classmates, and while it's absolutely unbelievable, none of the others can offer up a better explanation as to Rei's presence here. If Hinata trusts her, obviously she can stay, but at least Kuzuryuu and Souda will want to keep an eye on her. Basically don't do anything weird, Rei. Sonia, at least, is probably going to enjoy having someone to talk about morbid stuff with...

After what seems like too long, the others finally leave Hinata alone with Rei. He's just going to sag to the floor and rest his head back against the wall with an exhausted sigh. Talking about all that and trying to convince them it made sense used up his entire influence gauge, alright...]

See?

[A wry smile up at Rei.] That wasn't so bad.

I didn't expect anything less. And I was so tempted to mess around with them a bit...

[ She tosses her hair aside with what seems to be amusement. Well, she hasn't done anything wrong -- nor does she plan on doing anything -- but hey, she likes to screw around with people for her entertainment. It's fun. Of course, it's more on the lighthearted side now rather than the evil mastermind side. ]

Anyway, I thought it could have ended up a lot worse. They could have tried to kill me. [ Her voice drops into something a little monotone when she talks about her death, but she soon shrugs it off. ] But we're alone now, Hajime.

[ She crouches down to where he's sitting, palms on her cheeks playfully as she smiles at him. It's an earnest smile, one that she rarely gives to anyone. ] Just you and me, here in this room.

They've been through enough. We all have.

[That all includes Rei, too, as he glances toward her when her voice goes monotone. There's a flash of obvious guilt that crosses his face, and he just closes his eyes and nods.]

Y-yeah. That's definitely not going to happen here, though. I promise.

[Now that he doesn't have the responsibility of needing to save everyone almost entirely by himself, he'll willingly take a bullet for Rei before letting anything happen to her... what a good boy he is.

...But then she's giving him that playful smile by the time he opens his eyes again, and he can't help but crack another small grin in response.]

Yeah, you're right. Did you want to head to the supermarket...?

I know. I'd just tease them a little, really. Though the one who's the most fun to tease is you.

[ Rei smiles before deciding to poke him on the forehead real quick before standing right back up, clicking her heels as she turns her back on him. It's nice that he's promising something like that to her. She knows he wouldn't break it, that he wouldn't lie to her. Not about something like that. ]

Mm? Well, if I'm going to be staying here for a while, I should probably figure out what's there so I can cook something for tomorrow... but maybe later. I was thinking that maybe I'd go ahead and take a shower. There is one in here, right?

[Cooking... he'd be lying if he said he didn't want to taste Rei's cooking, after all. Not that he would want to keep it all for himself; it would be a good idea to spend time with everyone for something like that. Maybe hotpot...? Dried meat would be good enough for that, right??

Oh, but right, shower.]

Huh? O-oh, yeah... the hot water works fine in my room, so if you want to use it, go ahead. We can figure out if, um, if you want your own room after that...

[Don't think about her showering, Hajime, don't think about it!]

Alright. But I might have to borrow some clothes for the time being. Just a shirt should be fine. [ And as for his remark, she just smiles, already undoing the ribbons in her hair as she replies, ] I already told you, didn't I? We can share.

Oh, and I'm still keeping my promise. If you want to come in the shower with me, Hajime, I won't mind.

[His voice might have cracked as he scrambles to his feet. Rei no this poor boy is going to have a heart attack.]
