[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

Following that trail was a mistake. A huge mistake. The moment he sees Rei he freezes in place. ]

R-Re...

[ He cries out her name and collapses, clinging to Pikachu as he finds himself in tears again. If only he did something. Then maybe this wouldn't have happened. He said he would be back but he was already too late.

Damn it. damn it. ]

...

[ There are eyes on Ash as he cries out, collapsing onto the floor. She doesn't say anything at first, but soon enough, the sounds of something falling onto the floor can be heard in front of him; though it doesn't look as if something fell, it's more as if someone just simply jumped. ]

This is getting boring.

[ A voice speaks up, a familiar one. But there's a definite shift in her tone. It's bored, yet filled with sheer confidence; something that she hasn't been using ever since she first spoke with Ash. And there's something clearly wrong with her tone, it's almost menacing.

She dusts off her skirt as she turns to the left, picking up two of the objects that she had hidden in this room - one being her cell phone, the other a stuffed rabbit. And then she clicks her heels, walking - that's right, walking - towards him with a smile, a sick, ominous grin plastered on her lips. ]

You're still awake, aren't you? I'd be disappointed if you collapsed and I'd have to wait until you woke up. That wouldn't be any fun at all...

[ Ash looks up when he hears something jumping down, eyes widening when he hears that something speak

but... he just... ]

I'm.. I'm awake.

[ He wipes the tears away from his eyes and tries to get a better look. To see if it really is who he thinks it is. The voice says so, although it's different than before. It actually brought downa little shiver in his spine when he heard it. And they're walking, no less...

There's only way to really be sure. ]

... Rei?

[ He's definitely confused. Just what's going on? ]

That's me.

[ She holds the plush rabbit in her arms more tightly, carrying it as if it's precious as she circles around him, the grin on her lips unfading. ]

I wanted to wait a little longer, but... it's really boring to watch this game unfold so easily.

[ He wants to be happy that Rei is alive, and that whatever he just saw on the wall wasn't her but.. ]

What do you mean? What game?

[ That other girl said 'game' too. Do they thing that everything that has happened all just been a [i]game[/i] this whole time? But then that whole time Rei has been with him... ]

This one. "Rabbit Doubt". You saw the warning in the last room, didn't you? "The wolf will kill the liar..." I'm sure you didn't understand it entirely, but I'll give you a hint: I'm a wolf, too.

[ She says those words with no remorse, a light chuckle escaping her lips. ]

H-huh?

[ It starts to click, but every piece that does only make him more upset. ]

But then... the whole time we were together...

[ no. It can't be true, right? That their whole time together was just ... not what it looked like. ]

That's right. I didn't need help from the very beginning. I didn't think it would be this easy to fool you, but then again... you're only just a child.

[ She got you pretty good, you know. ]

But it gets boring to just watch you run around like that. I want to watch you suffer.

[ If Ash wasn't holding Pikachu he would be clenching his fists right now. ]

How could you? I thought we were working together to get out. And I thought... I thought...

[ He thought they were friends. ]

Unfortunately, you thought wrong. I don't need friends. I never needed them. All of my so-called friends were simply just pretending, just because I was famous. But in the end, they all betrayed me. They called me a liar, a sham. They drove my entire family to suicide.

And that's why I'm doing this. To rid the world of all the liars. And you can't do anything to stop me.

I... I'm so sorry. It must have been hard but... but aren't you doing the same by doing this?

[ He's shaking. Trying so hard to hold back his tears. He really does feel bad about her story, but he's also upset about being betrayed like this. All he wanted to do was help. His stomach is in knots just thinking about all of this. ]

It is true that I did betray you. But that too was a part of my plan. I want others to feel exactly the way I felt back then. That's why I went to such lengths to do this.

[ She holds up her phone, flipping it open. There seems to be a picture on the screen, and Ash will probably not like it one bit. The person in the picture seems to be tied up to the front passenger seat of the car, bound to the chair but not gagged.

He might find the person familiar.

After all... the person in the photo is his own mother. ]

[ The moment Ash saw the picture of the screen he felt like his heart stopped for a moment. ]

M... Mom... [ He's not just shaking now. He's trembling. Why. Why is this happening. ]

Let her go! She doesn't deserve it! She never lied or done anything to hurt someone!

How do you know? [ She arches a brow, her voice angry. ]

Besides, even if she hasn't lied... you have.

I ... [ Okay, he doesn't. But he can't see his Mom lying. He's been taught to always be honest and he knows that she would follow the same ideals and mannerisms.

His eyes widen though, when he hears her later words. ]

W-What...?

I heard all about it. The time you tried to pass yourself off as a girl... That counts, you know. As a lie.

But... But my Mom knows nothing about that! She doesn't deserve this for something I did! If anyone deserves it it's me!

[ He's not even going to fight the lie. It's true that he tried passing himself off as a girl. Even did it a second time and wasn't caught. Fighting them isn't going to do any good, but no matter what he had done his Mom had no part in it. And her safety comes first. ]

You're brave, I'll give you that. You remind me of Yu-kun -- that guy you saw earlier. Oh, not the one who I made you kill, but the corpse that the first key had. He was determined to get out of here alive... But I couldn't let that happen.

I didn't want to lose a wolf, after all.

[ She's referring to Mitsuki, of course. ]

So you're saying that you'll take any punishment for lying?

[ Ugh. Ash feels nauseous just thinking of those two incidents again. Even more so now that she was urging him to take off that mask knowing full well what would happen... and the fact that she knew who it was that he took the key from in the first room.

And maybe even was the one that...

He does his best to shove those thoughts aside to put on as determined face as he could. ]

Just... Just don't hurt my Mom. Or anyone else I care about.

[ He presses Pikachu just a little closer to him as he says that. Good thing Pikachu isn't awake yet or else he would be having a little mouse objection torn on what to do. He doesn't need that right now. ]

Unfortunately for you, you're in no spot to make demands. I can't guarantee anybody's safety.

[ She says this in a matter of fact tone, almost as if she's bored. ]

After all, liars don't deserve any last requests from me.

But you're just as much as a liar! At least I wasn't hurting anyone with my lies!

[ His frustration is starting to set in which only leads to him talking before thinking what he's saying. ]

...

Then why don't you tell me what I've lied about? I'd like to hear it. [ She's bored, but she's also thinking that this is rather amusing. ]

You pretended to be someone you're not! I thought you couldn't walk, but you can actually walk this whole time. And if you're a wolf then you knew this whole time where the keys were and ... and what someone had to do to get 'em.

[ He nearly chokes at the end. All of this is making him feel dizzy. It's a good thing he never stood back up otherwise he would have just fallen back to the ground by this time. But he's barely keeping steady even now. ]

It's not pretending if you're acting like the person you used to be. I was disabled when the accident happened, so it's not a lie. But yes, I did know where the keys were. In fact, the keys were all absolutely unnecessary to begin with if you had this.

[ She raises her skirt, revealing a barcode on her thigh. ]

It's the equivalent of a 'key'.

Y-You mean I... I...

[ That stops him from retaliation. The thought that he didn't have to do any of the things he did make him so dizzy that he can't even focus on Rei anymore. He puts a hand to his head to try to stop it, but the only thing he seems to be able to do is close his eyes and clench his teeth.

Why. Why does all of this have to happen. Is it really just because of those few moments? Any of those times weren't even really his idea to begin with. ]
