[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

Perhaps... but right now, we don't really have a lot of leads on where the key might be. And anyway, I'm still wondering why that room exists in the first place. Why does anybody need files on so many people?

[And more importantly, why are the Feys in there? That bothers me more than anything.]

[dolosa]

I don't know... Doesn't the government need a lot of files on people? B-- but I think it's a good idea to check, just in case.

[wright_idea]

[So we're government experiments now? That's fantastic. Really.

But she does have a point. Even if it's not the government itself, it could be someone with contacts within the government. There's an awful lot of data there for someone to get by themselves.]

All right. If we don't have any luck with that, maybe the barcode we found will be sufficient.

[dolosa]

Okay. Let's go, then.

[wright_idea]

Right.

[He leads the way back to the library, eyeing the man still sitting on the chair with discomfort as he passes.]

[Sorry, buddy. Hopefully we can get you out soon enough to get you the attention you need.]

[Back in the library, he immediately sets to work.]

Do you see any semblance of order to these texts?

If it's like a normal library, it should be in alphabetical order... by last name.

Simple enough. Let's see...

[dolosa]

Ah, here it is!

[ Rei's managed to find it; thankfully it's on the lower half. She will pass the file over to Phoenix, though. What it says is that the suspect's full name is Hoyama Mitsuki, and that she was involved in the Rabbit Doubt killings, as well as Yu's death. Another thing to note is that people thought that she was crazy, or delusional because she thought that her father was still alive.

It says that Mitsuki was put into custody after staying in the hospital to treat her injuries. ]

[Oh. Oh boy. A serial killer.

I may be feeling a little faint.]

Um... let's hope we don't run into this girl. She seems like really bad news. Either way, there's no key here.

[dolosa]

O-- okay. Let's try the barcode, then.

[wright_idea]

Yeah...

[Ugh. I have the worst feeling about this all. We have to get out of here, now.]

[He leads the way, returning to the locked door. He scans the barcode to see if that's sufficient.]

okay from here on out we're gonna go rei > phoenix > mitsuki until things change to say otherwise

[ Thankfully, there's a beep, causing the light to turn from red to green, along with the click of the door. It seems that he's able to open it, thankfully. Which causes a sigh of relief from Rei's end.

However, it's probably not going to be pretty on the other side of that door. ]

[wright_idea]

Brace yourself. We may not like what we see.

[He cautiously opens the door, prepared for, well, the worst.]

[bystandering]

[There's a faint stench of dried blood in the air as the door opens. It's a fairly open space--not as open as the previous warehouse room but still open enough. Except there was a big difference. In the light there is another person not a few feet away from the door.

She seems to blink slowly as the door opens. She steps forward, favoring her left leg. At this close range several other details might be apparent. The fact that she has a white bandage around her neck (that has a faint stain on it) and the fact that she seems a little pale.]

[dolosa]

Wright-san...! I think there's someone there.

[ She seems rather surprised as she gasps at the sight. She seems to be injured too, which might mean that she was probably captured by their captors. ]

[wright_idea]

Y... yeah, I see. She doesn't seem to be in good shape...

[He approaches her carefully.]

Hey, are you okay?

[bystandering]

[She seems a little slow to react. As if she wasn't paying attention until now. When she does speak, it's with a stiff nod.]

Y-yeah.

[She also seems to be dressed in the same sort of outfit that the others with rabbit heads had been in: white shirt and dress pants.] I was just thinking when you opened the door.

[dolosa]

Thinking?

[ She tilts her head to the side, rather curiously. ]

... About what?

[wright_idea]

...?

[Why do I... suddenly have a weird feeling of dread?]

[bystandering]

About how to escape, of course.

[She looks to the side.]

I've got family to get back to.

[dolosa]

So there were other people besides us who were stuck here... Though we did see that guy in the other room with the mask.

[wright_idea]

[Ha ha ha... of course, what else would somebody think about in a crazy place like this? Man, I am WAY too jumpy.]

Yeah... We need to get out of here as soon as we can, though. That guy needs medical attention really badly. Do you have any ideas?

[bystandering]

Medical attention...? There's a locked door in here and the doorway to the room I woke up in. It looked like some kind of medical station. Maybe we can find something in there to help him out?

[She seems to be a little more alert now and gives a sigh of relief.]

I'm glad I found other people, though. I've been alone in here.

[dolosa]

M-- maybe. We'd have to carry him over there and figure out what's wrong with him. He didn't look very well, from what we could see. And...

[ There's a visible pause in her words before she adds: ]

He said some strange things.

[wright_idea]

Very strange, yeah. Something about "the liar must die." It was pretty creepy.

[Medical supplies... I'm not sure how much they'd help, but we could at least look and see what they have.]
