[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

[Her head begins to ache dully. This was going slowly. She...she had to do something. She steps to the side, placing a hand on the wheelchair. She doesn't say anything.]

Ash... O- once you're done with that room, you'll come back for me, right?

[ It's a question that she wants a direct answer to. It's one that she needs the answer to before Mitsuki tries anything. ]

[ The wheels in Ash's mind seem to start actually turning once he hears that question. He looks at Rei, and nods. ]

Yeah. Maybe there's a way to get you through in that room. But no matter what I'll be back.

[ He's not leaving anyone behind before getting out of this warehouse. And that seemed to have been enough of a push for him to actually start heading to the stairs. He glances back a few times to make sure Mitsuki isn't already trying anything, but he needs to press on, doesn't he. Standing around helplessly isn't going to do anything; maybe going to the next room will help Rei.

He can certainly hope. ]

[The door at the top of the stairs is unlocked, of course. It was the room that Mitsuki had woke up in. Not that she's paying much attention to him. Instead she leans forward and whispers so only Rei can hear her.]

Where should we start first, hm?

[ In the room that Ash finds himself in, he'll notice that there is yet another set of doors in the center of the room, along with various equipment and machinery that belonged to this factory, whatever it was.

It's not as empty as the room prior to it, but there's definitely something ominous happening in this room. And you know the whole problem with the keys? There's a bunch of them in this room. Tons. Enough to make you sit here for days.

And painted on the walls is a single phrase:

"The wolf will kill all the liars."

When he's finally gone from her line of sight, Rei just speaks a single sentence, two words. ]

Do it.

[ Plan to Kill Rei Hazama is in motion, while Ash is still... working in that other room of his. ]

[ KEYS WHY SO MANY KEYS. How is he going to figure out what key works for these doors.

But his train of thought on the keys stop when he sees the message painted on the wall. He stares at it for a moment. He's heard and seen this how many times now?

A moment passed and something seemed to click. Didn't... didn't that girl say something about being the wolf? And she kept insisting that Rei was a liar.

Oh no.

He grits his teeth before deciding to go back down the stairs to the other room. He shouldn't have left to begin with.. !]

[ In the time that he gets back to the room he was originally in, there seems to be no signs of life at all. Both Rei and Mitsuki have managed to disappear. You'll have to keep searching, Ash. Maybe if you're fast enough, you'll still have enough time to save her. ]

Wha?

[ Well that was quick. But before Ash decides to do anything else, such as going back to the other room he'll check around a big. It might be empty, but maybe they're in the shadows somewhere. And when he doesn't see them anywhere he'll even try and go back to the last room. The one before the warehouse.

But when all of that doesn't work he'll decide to head back to the room with the keys. If he can't go back then the only chance of finding Rei then would be to go forward. Hopefully he can make it in time. ]

[ And you'll definitely find something, that's for sure. In the room before the huge warehouse room, there's something rather familiar on the floor, placed sideways. It's Rei's wheelchair.

And there seems to be a trail of blood leading off to the right side.

If he does follow it, he'll find a familiar face staked onto the wall with empty eyes staring at nowhere in particular. ]

[ no.

no no no.

Following that trail was a mistake. A huge mistake. The moment he sees Rei he freezes in place. ]

R-Re...

[ He cries out her name and collapses, clinging to Pikachu as he finds himself in tears again. If only he did something. Then maybe this wouldn't have happened. He said he would be back but he was already too late.

Damn it. damn it. ]

...

[ There are eyes on Ash as he cries out, collapsing onto the floor. She doesn't say anything at first, but soon enough, the sounds of something falling onto the floor can be heard in front of him; though it doesn't look as if something fell, it's more as if someone just simply jumped. ]

This is getting boring.

[ A voice speaks up, a familiar one. But there's a definite shift in her tone. It's bored, yet filled with sheer confidence; something that she hasn't been using ever since she first spoke with Ash. And there's something clearly wrong with her tone, it's almost menacing.

She dusts off her skirt as she turns to the left, picking up two of the objects that she had hidden in this room - one being her cell phone, the other a stuffed rabbit. And then she clicks her heels, walking - that's right, walking - towards him with a smile, a sick, ominous grin plastered on her lips. ]

You're still awake, aren't you? I'd be disappointed if you collapsed and I'd have to wait until you woke up. That wouldn't be any fun at all...

[ Ash looks up when he hears something jumping down, eyes widening when he hears that something speak

but... he just... ]

I'm.. I'm awake.

[ He wipes the tears away from his eyes and tries to get a better look. To see if it really is who he thinks it is. The voice says so, although it's different than before. It actually brought downa little shiver in his spine when he heard it. And they're walking, no less...

There's only way to really be sure. ]

... Rei?

[ He's definitely confused. Just what's going on? ]

That's me.

[ She holds the plush rabbit in her arms more tightly, carrying it as if it's precious as she circles around him, the grin on her lips unfading. ]

I wanted to wait a little longer, but... it's really boring to watch this game unfold so easily.

[ He wants to be happy that Rei is alive, and that whatever he just saw on the wall wasn't her but.. ]

What do you mean? What game?

[ That other girl said 'game' too. Do they thing that everything that has happened all just been a [i]game[/i] this whole time? But then that whole time Rei has been with him... ]

This one. "Rabbit Doubt". You saw the warning in the last room, didn't you? "The wolf will kill the liar..." I'm sure you didn't understand it entirely, but I'll give you a hint: I'm a wolf, too.

[ She says those words with no remorse, a light chuckle escaping her lips. ]

H-huh?

[ It starts to click, but every piece that does only make him more upset. ]

But then... the whole time we were together...

[ no. It can't be true, right? That their whole time together was just ... not what it looked like. ]

That's right. I didn't need help from the very beginning. I didn't think it would be this easy to fool you, but then again... you're only just a child.

[ She got you pretty good, you know. ]

But it gets boring to just watch you run around like that. I want to watch you suffer.

[ If Ash wasn't holding Pikachu he would be clenching his fists right now. ]

How could you? I thought we were working together to get out. And I thought... I thought...

[ He thought they were friends. ]

Unfortunately, you thought wrong. I don't need friends. I never needed them. All of my so-called friends were simply just pretending, just because I was famous. But in the end, they all betrayed me. They called me a liar, a sham. They drove my entire family to suicide.

And that's why I'm doing this. To rid the world of all the liars. And you can't do anything to stop me.

I... I'm so sorry. It must have been hard but... but aren't you doing the same by doing this?

[ He's shaking. Trying so hard to hold back his tears. He really does feel bad about her story, but he's also upset about being betrayed like this. All he wanted to do was help. His stomach is in knots just thinking about all of this. ]

It is true that I did betray you. But that too was a part of my plan. I want others to feel exactly the way I felt back then. That's why I went to such lengths to do this.

[ She holds up her phone, flipping it open. There seems to be a picture on the screen, and Ash will probably not like it one bit. The person in the picture seems to be tied up to the front passenger seat of the car, bound to the chair but not gagged.

He might find the person familiar.

After all... the person in the photo is his own mother. ]

[ The moment Ash saw the picture of the screen he felt like his heart stopped for a moment. ]

M... Mom... [ He's not just shaking now. He's trembling. Why. Why is this happening. ]

Let her go! She doesn't deserve it! She never lied or done anything to hurt someone!

How do you know? [ She arches a brow, her voice angry. ]

Besides, even if she hasn't lied... you have.

I ... [ Okay, he doesn't. But he can't see his Mom lying. He's been taught to always be honest and he knows that she would follow the same ideals and mannerisms.

His eyes widen though, when he hears her later words. ]

W-What...?

I heard all about it. The time you tried to pass yourself off as a girl... That counts, you know. As a lie.
