[ When you awaken, you're in what seems to be an abandoned warehouse; it looks like the place hasn't been used for its original intent in ages, though the smell of copper permeates the area. The carcasses of corpses lie around here and there - some dismembered, some completely intact - along with creepy, oversized masks of rabbits.

The warehouse itself isn't that big -- there's two floors, and many doors. However, each door is locked, and the only way through is to find a key.

However, you're not alone. There's a girl who seems to be panicking nervously, fiddling with her skirt anxiously as she sits on her wheelchair, glancing every now and again at you, not all that certain as what to do. At least, that's before you awaken, which is when she gasps in sheer surprise. ]

You're-- you're finally awake.

Uh, big empty room in a place that's otherwise been entirely too consistent thematically? I'd call that a big warning sign if you ask me.

... I- It's a warehouse though, isn't it? It could have been used for something else originally. [ But he's probably right. ]

Maybe we should look at the side I was at before... There's one path to the left and to the right in the first corridor.

[wright_idea]

[He shakes his head.]

Maybe at some point. But at this point it's been clearly repurposed. Anyway, there's nothing even being kept in that room. It's pretty fishy.

I think you're right. We should try the other side first, see if anything more appealing shows up.

[dolosa]

Okay. We're looking for a key, right?

[wright_idea]

And a barcode, if we can swing it.

[And hopefully not something really bad.]

[dolosa]

A barcode...?

[ She bites her lower lip nervously. Where can they find a barcode? She guesses that it's probably important, so she nods. ]

Okay. There's a bedroom to the left, and a bathroom to the right... The bathroom smells, though.

[wright_idea]

[You're really picking a time like this to complain about poor bathroom upkeep?]

I guess we can try the bedroom first, then.

[dolosa]

[ She didn't exactly say what kind of smells it had, Phoenix. ]

Y-yeah. [ Even though her voice is small, she manages to head into the bedroom. ] Is this... "where the liar sleeps"? There might be a clue here.

[ There is a clue, in fact. But it's not a pretty one. But hey, you've got to hand it to him, right? (There seems to be a barcode in that severed hand.) But that's not all!

The hand seems to be holding a document about an undercover investigation on the real life Rabbit Doubt games and the fact that the police manged to capture the perpetrator and put them into custody. ]

[wright_idea]

Yeah, there could b -- GAH!

[He recoils at the hand. Shit shit shit shit...]

J-Jesus, the person in charge of all this is a real sick puppy...

[This doesn't stop him from reaching out and grabbing the file and the barcode though. ...Eh?]

[They caught the perpetrator? But why would our captors bother leaving this file here? Are they trying to claim they're not the ones that hosted it? ...or that they caught the wrong person? Ugh, if this just had the name of the person they caught!]

[dolosa]

[ Rei manages to hold in a scream, but she does quickly attempt to make her way towards the bathroom, gross or not, to throw up.

And then come back. ]

Was there... any key...?

[wright_idea]

[He shakes his head.]

The barcode was there, but I didn't see any key. I guess that means the key is in another room.

[dolosa]

The only room we didn't check was... the bathroom?

[wright_idea]

Seems like it.

[Based on, if not the process of elimination, the increasing amount of dread I'm feeling in my stomach as to what we'll find in there.]

Did you see anything when you were in there that seemed out of place?

[dolosa]

Huh?

[ She arches her brow before shaking her head. ]

I'm sorry, I wasn't really paying any attention...

[wright_idea]

...right.

[*sigh* Looks like I get to be the one to find out whatever horrible secret the bathroom hides.]

[He searches the bathroom. Reluctantly.]

[dolosa]

[ Besides Rei's gross puke from moments earlier, the notable things about the bathroom is the broken mirror, cracked in the center. However, there seems to be writing in some sort of red paint on it. It seems to say "The wolf is Hoyama". Even though there's evidence that the message continued off of the mirror, it's impossible to figure out what the rest of it was. ]

Is there anything in there...?

[wright_idea]

Just some message about "the wolf being Hoyama." Uh, you don't know a Hoyama, do you?

[Where could the rest of the message be, though...?]

[dolosa]

Hoyama...? I don't.

[wright_idea]

Hmm. Then who...

! I've got it! That library room! There might be something on somebody named Hoyama there!

[dolosa]

You think so? But Hoyama's a common last name...

[wright_idea]

Perhaps... but right now, we don't really have a lot of leads on where the key might be. And anyway, I'm still wondering why that room exists in the first place. Why does anybody need files on so many people?

[And more importantly, why are the Feys in there? That bothers me more than anything.]

[dolosa]

I don't know... Doesn't the government need a lot of files on people? B-- but I think it's a good idea to check, just in case.

[wright_idea]

[So we're government experiments now? That's fantastic. Really.

But she does have a point. Even if it's not the government itself, it could be someone with contacts within the government. There's an awful lot of data there for someone to get by themselves.]

All right. If we don't have any luck with that, maybe the barcode we found will be sufficient.

[dolosa]

Okay. Let's go, then.

[wright_idea]

Right.

[He leads the way back to the library, eyeing the man still sitting on the chair with discomfort as he passes.]

[Sorry, buddy. Hopefully we can get you out soon enough to get you the attention you need.]

[Back in the library, he immediately sets to work.]
