[Today was just not Serena's day.
Whether it were a stroke of bad luck, a coincidence, or some sort of uncanny fate that caused her to somehow lose her blue ribbon after participating in one of the Hoenn contests. That was something that was really important to her. In fact, she could even say that it was probably one of the most important things to her, period.
But the fact that it was somehow gone put her into a frenzy to the point where she couldn't help but panic. And that panic was rather obvious in her face as she darted off. Of course, she wasn't running so fast that she'd bump into someone, as she was trying to get information off of people, but it was definitely a sight to behold.
Which is why when she runs into Paul, it's clear that she's a little out of breath as she asks the single question, her voice slightly raised:]
Um, excuse me! You didn't happen to see a blue ribbon around here, have you?
